I am not sure why that happened, since I just started another playthrough, and the Pulling Cilia worked fine. I was thinking maybe it was due to low fps, but even when my fps dropped to less than 5, the Pulling Cilia still worked the same. Even with a gigantic slow Plant cell, it still worked as it should. Even with -50% Osmoregulation Cost, the Pulling Cilia worked as intended. Perhaps the strange interaction was from the bug of being unable to save from incomplete endosymbiosis, since the interaction occurred during that same playthrough, but I omitted mentioning it my feedback due to being unsure of whether there was any changes to the Pulling Cilia.

I’ve also noticed that the binding agent requiring excess ATP production including above the movement cost makes it harder to get for plant players for whom movement may matter not much to not at all.

Is it possible the cell on top of the food chain had predatory organelles during the turn, and then lost it with the subsequent Auto-Evo calculations?

Don’t know, but it surely shouldn’t have been able to predate on an eukaryote…

The Slime Jet is erroneously counted as its own offensive organelle instead of helping predation with actual offensive options. It’s on my to-do list to fix before 1.0.

I’ve also noticed that the binding agent requiring excess ATP production including above the movement cost makes it harder to get for plant players for whom movement may matter not much to not at all.

Not sure I am aware of that. Where are you seeing this? Or is this about the unlock condition?

Ah, maybe that could explain why some species seem to stack an absurd amount of slime jets on themselves…

I think that hydrogen sulfide should do more damage overall. I end up consuming it and cells that eat it with little to no negative outcome.

The low damage is so that new players dont die easily to it iirc

I tried to load a fossil that I had saved earlier from that same unloadable playthrough in the Museum, and got a similar error.

Also what does this have to do with the pulling cilia thing?

This isn’t an old fossil. It is from 0.9.0.0, saved from the save file that had the loading bug before I closed it.

I don’t usually check the stats of fossils after I save them, which is why I did not catch this issue earlier.

It’s the same error again, the species data still has the endosymbiosis action in it so it doesn’t load correctly.

Does this mean a separate fix is not needed to address the fossil failing to load?

Yes, it should stop giving the same error. I can’t 100% guarantee it works after that, but it should at least get further in loading the fossil data.
