Can ogre handle preanimated models?

The flagella is animated with a skeletal animation. Older versions of Ogre also supported morph targets but that might not be supported by the new engine with a newer Ogre 2.1 version.

You should check out the Ogre v2 samples for demos of what Ogre can do (I don’t think there are precompiled versions so you’d have to compile it yourself).

Also there are plans to change all the agents to be similar to the compound clouds to make it more realistic so having a new model for it might be wasted work.
