How long has the new image taken you to this point?
Several hours. My computer decided to update, and now it is it super slow to do any thing, including saving files. Thanks, Microsoft.
You can split off any extant species and mutate it.
i’ll split off of cha’s species, and have the tail fin become larger, with a more vascularized membrane, as well as a rough surface, to encourage algae and to grow on it, so i can get e bit more glucose and oxygen in exchange for nutrients and co2(gaseous waste without them), the eye cells develop vacuoles of different photoreceptive compounds, including melanin and various retinols, and the egg cells develop a yolk, which the nucleus sits on the surface of.
Here is my attempt at making a picture for my updated species…
This is Fred/Fredricka the Friendly Trifalsocaris!
Alright! Just aah is left I think…
Speaking of which, I made this image for no particular reason.
I mean, that could happen in the future.
Ice Ages will begin soon, right?
Also, I wonder if @doomlightning would like my organism?
Protopiscus Pseudopiscus shall evolve into Piscus Primium, which will develop swarm/shoal behaviours. The color of the specimens will become greyish (like fish) to be harder to see. The pinhole eyes will evolve into lensed ones. Better smell, taste and touch senses develop, while the hearing sense develops in a primitive form. Lastly, these “fishes” now can reproduce sexually, with each specimen hosting both male and female organs (like earthworms). Asexual reproduction is still possible.
Do we change our genus names next round?
Yeah, soon you change it.
By soon you mean the next mutation post, right?
Yes, next mutation post.
By the way, can we now submit our new mutations?
Did Cha mutate? If so, we can start.
No, they didn’t mutate yet. Also remember now we have a 4th player.
They already mutated, so only one AI species splitting off Cha’s. I’m doing that for my own sanity.
And after the AI species is done, we’ll start the next round, right?
I am actually realy like that!
Yes, that is when the next round starts.
Not sure why but the fins remind me of a certain Spore ripoff game…
Pretty sure this is the one you’re searching for?
Also should mention this tk willow, that isn’t a fin really that’s a thermoplast membrane that’s occasionally moved to create friction over them or send water over the creature for more oxygen.
