Crustacean worshipping thread

The white “D” symbol needs to be on the head, not the body. And there needs to be an extra set of complex red eyes on stalks in the head region.

Now?

Barnacles, believe it or not, are crustaceans.

The relationship can be seen most in the larval stages.

So crustaceans can parasitize other crustaceans?

Ofcourse. Not surprising as crustaceans are a rather diverse group.

Pea crabs are a crustacean that parasitize claims and oysters.

I bet most people would want these peas of crabs to be shot into something like concrete.

Triops, also known as tadpole shrimp, are crustaceans that resemble trilobites. However, they are actually Branchiopods, close relatives of insects. Other branchiopods include Daphnia and brine shrimp.

Branchiopod is not to be confused with Brachiopod, the clams.

Sometimes, the difference of one letter can make a very big difference in words.

I have been summoned at last my crustacean followers
For the great ritual that summon me, i will add mine:

The Synalpheus regalis, the esosial shimpe.

They live as a colony inside a sponge and know so far as the first marin esocial creatures. They have a small hierarchy that contian up too 300 with atlist 1 queen

Is this the only crustacean to live inside a Sponge?

As far as i know, no.
Animles like the Cyclopoid copepods - parasite that live inside the sponjr
But as a esocial grope - yes

Nice!

Also, since everyone is posting carids…Skeleton Shrimp!

That barely even looks like a shrimp anymore and nooks more like a Hydra!

And then there are things called Clam Shrimp, but they are Clams.

Clam shrimp are Branchiopods, a clade of crustacean. I can understand you mixing up brachiopod and branchiopod, though.

Yup. Auto-correct was not helping.
