It is a valid question, and one that is probably not answered anywhere very clearly. I moved this to #meta though as this is not an introduction thread.
Anyway the answer is that we don’t really have an age limit to join the development team, you just need to have sufficient game development skills you can show off when applying. Though, in practice the minimum age is probably 13 due to the various services etc. we use, so the USA law about accounts for minors on various online services is what basically sets the lower limit.
