Endless Expanse 2.0

Ok, then I’m not technically a cell, but that doesn’t matter.

correct, unless you want to have thick solar panels and mobility but for that you can just invade a protocell and become part of it

also for the nucleus structure you could just invade a liposome as they form everywhere with only a 2 needed to find one

you will need to wait for the gameplay part though first

Are you waiting for more players?

No I’m waiting for a keyboard
EDIT: i got a keyboard
i also need to go to sleep though so i cant do the round yet
EDIT: i am back from school, also look at the new rock i added.

NEIGBORING ROCK

scientific name: Primium Thrivnium

existing traits: RNA duplicase, monolayer bilipid membrane, sulfide metabolism that produces a lot of Cl+, hgt, plasmid (seems like i have it now then)

respiration methods: ion gradient

mutations: more plasmids, flagella

description: A protocell that live around the hydrothermal vents seeking sulfur to power itself and its repoduction

current habitat(s):Hydrothermal vents

new habitat:abyssal seafloor

Remember, you need to make sure you have proper electron and proton transport methods to use your me
tabolism to the fullest once you have metabolosomes
It is definitely not urgent though until you have a large number of organelles that use energy outside of heat and sound

Is it the gameplay part of the round?

Can you give some examples if I may ask?

yes

sure but only through hints in the results for the game part of the round

I will steal a protocells RNA analogue that lets it have an actual (silica if I can) membrane.

do you mean you are invading a liposome or that you are invading a protocell and taking its RNA and adding it to yours

I was thinking if gaining part of a protocells RNA when invading it, but if both work, it doesn’t matter.

Alright sorry for my absence did I miss anything?

only that you need to choose an action i think

Can you give some examples I have no idea (Just so I can think of one)

absorb some RNA(RNA replicase, ribozyme, Kryto Namenaldi(not really RNA as they are made from a silica analougue of it but it will still work if you replace your water with oil and shed your inner lipids or stay in its habitat), or other RNA molecules), swim around(if you have movement parts), do nothing, etc.

Do nothing then given its right above a food source.

i’m gonna absorb a ribozyme and add it to my plasmid

ROUND 1 RESULTS

@Nonametoseehere

ATTEMPTED ACTION: invade silica based protocell
RESULT: you successfully invaded a silica based protocell, a random trait will now be selected to be added to your genome. loading random number between one and six… Number Loaded! result: 6! modified organism sheet loading… Organism Sheet Successfully Modified! result:

@willow

ATTEMPTED ACTION: absorb a rybozyme into my plasmid
