Endless Expanse

@willow Just a question
Considering my species are about to become very algae and animal may I speciate them in a later round so they can go full on into one of their ansector traits?

why would you need to do that?

Well my species have in coming round is about to try and take Bacteriochlorophyll b and other mutations (making it both a better ā€œPredetorā€ and a very algae

(Bacteriochlorophyll b btw is what makes purple bacteria purple and would allow far better photosynthesis)

you could just have it be a mixotrophic animal that has an organelle producing ATP from heat in the muscle cells and produce glucose ATP produced from sunlight. i’m not going to stop active mixotrophs from existing as active mixotrophs are a perfectly viable strategy

Maybe but they would need to probably rest a lot more then a ā€œanimalā€ or ā€œPlantā€ which specialize

not if they have chloroplasts that aren’t heavy due to RuBisCO and instead have a lighter And faster protein taking it’s place and produce ATP from any unnecessary heat via an endothermic reaction as well as have the muscles produce more waste heat as somehow that makes them more efficient as well as digest food for energy

Yea but the chance of that with the dice is very minimal it becomes a efficent enough body plan

not if you evolve 2 nuclei. they give advantage on mutation rolls
you have gametic reproduction so you have 4 MP

True but I tried twice before with first time getting a new large valcoues filled with water (repuropsed to being used in the jet) and second nothing happened

you could try only trying to evolve a nucleus and use the other 3 points for advantage as that is pretty much a guaranteed success

Gets a 6 + 3 (GODHOOD ACHIVED)

if you get 4 6s in a row you get a version of the organ/organelle you wanted but it creates all matter it needs for it’s processes and sends any antimatter produced into a black hole
@Cha what would you like to make your organism evolve

I have put my mutation round 9 up already

would you like to have that or a guaranteed nucleus is what i meant
@cha i have fused 2 of your mutations into 1 you still have 1 mutation point left

I’m guesing it’s the purple chlorophyll

alright third time the charm Nucleus again

it’s the toxin resistance and toxic mucilage

@Topcode @sci0927 can i have your mutations for round 9 also you may want to evolve something that uses water to fix CO2 if you want to stay in the vents patch and as far as i am aware you only live in one patch
@TwilightWings21 can you keep track of environmental compounds based on the organisms that exist
name: capsilarus stabulus
attempted mutations: frustule doors, thermosynthase(gradient) → thermosynthase(constant), melanin, bacteriophyll B.
description: a purple and brown tube that now uses heat alone to fix ADP into ATP instead of heat gradients and uses the energy from that ATP to produce glucose and produces heat from UV light to prevent gene ionization. it has doors on either side of it’s external frustule to keep it from having to plug the back end of it’s internal frustule with a rock every time it wants to eat things larger than itself
new habitat: epipelagic vents
diet: everything that isn’t a toxic metal

Btw do you know of all pacthes I’m in @willow ?

I’m pretty sure I’m in like 5 patches now, tbh i need to recount everyone patches and make like a chart for that somewhere with all the populations for each.

Anyways yeah mutations I’ll get chloroplasts cause I don’t think I have those, and I also want to get another nucleus

Btw when you roll just add a last one for a attempt to eat some of the older primium thermoterra species (endosymiotic ig)
