Endless Expanse

you are in the bathypelagic oceans

Well I guess I’m using 2 actions (if possible) to spread towards the mesopelagic ocean and epipelagic ocean

(Considering the bare minium is reaching a primium insidiae light)

if you explain how you do that well enough you can move to 3 patches of your choice and cannot fail. this goes for everyone
move to mesopelagic ocean: 4
move to epipelagic ocean: 1
end result: no new patches
unless you explain you do so

A small group of primium insidiae move upwards gaining more light from it and using their cilica this provide easier movmment upwards towards the sunnier spots which allows for the photosynthesis to take place much easier and more energy is provided towards the cell this way. With this trend ending up moving towards the epipelagic ocean as it’s the brightest area they could reach and still survive as well using the Mucilage jet to propel itself (using now water to propel and mucilage itself to hinder predetors or prey)a bit faster foward facing though it relies on how much sunlight it membrane takes to distinguish where it is.

(Idk if this works or not but here we go)

a +3 modifier has been added to your epipelagic move roll

So it’s in the Mightnight zone and Twilight zone now?

Small side effect I found given the species managed to get the DNA of the Thermoterra which is they reproduce 4x as fast and my species had a faster then normal fission rate (this extenteds to adults breeding with gametics) so idk how fast they are but algae blooms are now a thing once they get sunlight

(and that they can break down iron)

so you have those but now you have to eat iron and sulphur sustain the 4* reproduction rate and you get an energy boost by being on a cold surface in a hot area

A small price to pay (Also woudn’t it be like 5x bc of the fission from the Og species getting the DNA)
But understandable for it needing iron and sulphur (though sulphur could probably be replaced later date given the Bacteriochlorophyll) and I’m guessing stop eating one and it drops to 2x instead

Alright good to know

the reproduction rates do not get added together but yes it drops to 2* if you run out of iron and sulphur. if you run out of one it drops down to 3* but if you repeatedly change your internal temperature from hot to cold you get an extra 1* to the reproduction rate

Sorry, I’m busy making my own forum game or I would. Not sure how I’d go about doing that anyway

ok i’ll find someone else to do that
@everyone round 9 is done you have 1 hour after the first post that uses an action to do any 6 actions you want to do within the limits of your organism

Sorry for the late respone went sleeping

Using energy from the new found energy from the sun the insidiae start to duplicate their thyalokoids and surronding them by bacteriophyll B and the vacloues allowing the organism to use more CO2 that it can drag in to break down material for sugars and the Valcoues with bacteriophyll B around it is also duplicated inside of the organism to optomize the sun production with the metabolism moving closer to produce the needed sugars from it’s production taking some O2 and redircting it to make CO2 for it to go back to the O2 producers.

And to break down the sugars a small internal port is made into the Mucillage which will be slightly used to break down the sugars to ATP, as well a second mucillage vacloues is duplicated and used as reserve in case the first vacloues is used up by spraying something.

(If anything of these doesn’t work just inform me)

(Also we really need to cover which pacthes people are in)

thylakoids are membranes filled with photoreactive pigments that make energy for RuBisCO to use generally so you could just put the bacteriophyll in them. when did you get thylakoids?

Round 3 I got one but as it was total darkness it was kinda a thermopast (or how you write it)
Also Bacteriophyll is used but Thylakoid allows the use of O2 in the reaction as Bacteriophyll doesn’t use CO2

alright

thylakoids don’t use CO2 either they just make ATP

Thought they did alright

what is taking the CO2 then?

you have a protein that is basically RuBisCO but lighter faster and smaller

Well I guess it’s duplicated and put inside of the bacteriophyll B instead

@willow could I use the last 2 actions use that to create Neoteny in some insidiae larvae with exo-parastism and a new behaviour with adults?
