welp, time to salvage the disaster:

RP

After witnessing the savagery of their former friends and family, those we weren’t exiled gathered together to discuss what they should do now. It was clear that those “gods” had no intention to help them, they only wanted to use them as pawns for their own entertainment. Some said perhaps the so called demons may help them, but most rejected that as well for fear of a similar event. At the end, the people of Valen concluded that they should stay away from the temptations of higher powers, forgo the spiritual and focus on the material.
The elders that gathered had decided to establish a committee, that shall be known as “The Librarians”.
It was decided that the goal of the committee would be help the Valens develop technologically and understand the world around them, and lead the Valens so that they may grow in power and become strong enough to become independent from the divine.

vote: establish research and leadership institution known as “The Librarians”
it’s made of anti-religious extremists that think that all “divine” beings see humans as nothing more than ants, and that the Valens should gather power and overthrow them.

When the observation platform collapsed, the response was swift. Surviving members of the construction team were ferried to Kazar’s hut, where the old shaman and his pupils would spend the rest of the day mending their wounds. Meanwhile, the dead were buried with respectful haste. Many of the felled fence poles had broken, and reconstruction by nightfall was impossible.

“All spare guards will take on a night shift at the exposed section,” Kirala had declared. “Get ready to use fireballs, those worked best last time.”

Meanwhile, Nozzik used his healing magic with utmost care. Accustomed to seeing it used for flesh wounds, Kazar had taught him to guide fractured bone and torn sinew back into place, even without seeing it with his own eyes. It was a tedious process - Nozzik focused most of his energy on preventing the movements from causing overwhelming pain, putting actual healing at a snail’s pace - but it could be done. He knew he was making good progress with the fractured rib he was “operating” on, which had fortunately not stabbed into any major organs.

“Steady breaths, steady breaths,” Kazar repeated to the injured builders, since reducing movement simplified the process. The same went for those with minor injuries, who laid along the walls of the hut. He noted with soft pride that his pupils were performing well, and how far they’d come. The shamans were so committed to their task that they barely registered harsh sounds echoing in from outside.

Nozzik was the first to look up in alarm, and looked back at his patient with regret, who now grimaced in sudden pain. Kazar nodded, eyes still on his patient as he took on care of Nozzik’s, not a hint of strain on his face. Nozzik himself got up to look outside, and realized the air rung with loud baying. Right on cue, white-red wolves dashed into view, racing down trodden streets as a few warriors raced after them.

“What’s going on?” Nozzik asked, aware that there was little time for questions.

“Slime attack at the breach,” one warrior answered as his comrades continued their pursuit. “These ran past us in the chaos!” With these words, he sped back up.

Nozzik thought briefly, then returned to the hut. He attempted to prevent this knowledge from distracting him, as it would disrupt the healing process, but one thing was certain - the sudden aggression of wildlife was not something that could be ignored any more.

Vote: Have Kazar and his apprentices make a second attempt at sensing the disturbance.

RP Text

Nozzik held the slouching builder - whom he now knew as “Gejek” - as they made their way to the repair site. Eventually, the density of huts began to thin, and the palisade stretched all around them. In front of them was the gradually-closing gap, and just in front of it was a troop of builders carrying a massive stake of wood, the way ants would bear food back to their nests.

Nozzik carefully eased Gejek down along a hut’s outer wall. Gejek nodded his thanks as he reclined against it, joined shortly by Nozzik, and the two watched as the builders heaved the stake upright before guiding it into the gap, slowly lowering it into a pre-prepared hole. “Takes a while,” Gejek said knowingly.

Nozzik looked over to Gejek, and noticed he was clutching his chest. “Why did you want to come out here?” He asked, knowing he was soon to finish the job.

“Wanted to see things coming together,” Gejek replied. “So, you guys figure out what was with the animals?”

Nozzik thought. “Long story short, it’s the Vampires again. They’ve been doing all this from Gloom Island.”

Gejek, who had heard speculation ranging from disease to agitated nature spirits, was genuinely surprised. “Didn’t the Korens kill them all before, well…”

“Not all of them, especially not the ones in the dungeon.”

Gejek nodded ponderously, then perked up. “Keeping the Korens out was why we built this in the first place, right?” He asked, and let out soft chuckles at the irony.

Nozzik’s own memory was jogged by this realization. “And the Korens themselves got involved because…”

Gejek remembered a discovery by a certain friend of his…

(Alkala) @immortaldragon- Vote 1: With our rapport with the spiders built, we must deepen this bond. Begin attempts to make magical bonds or contracts of some kind with the spiders. (Roll: 3)

Vote 2: Search around for signs of the Golems and what their intentions might be. (Roll: 3)

Alkala Outcome

To deepen their bonds with the Spiders the Alkala entered their nesting grounds. During this visit a new queen spider was born. When some Alkala saw this, they found a perfect chance to use this spider to their advantage with the spiders. These Alkala then tried to steal the baby away and try to make it into a familiar to make it so that they have better control over the spiders in the future. Before the Alkala people could get away with the new spider queen the spider guards came and killed them. A few got away from the nest but because of this attempt the spiders have lost a lot of trust in the Alkala. The search for the golems leads to nothing. The scouts that were looking for them never came back to report what was going on. Some felt like either they were killed by the golems or something else had killed them

(Roll: 1)

Viets Outcome

The new religion that was founded was changed because of a few people who didn’t agree with these beliefs. Many agreed and have begun to twist the religion to their benefits because of this the main leaders of this religion and village have begun to abuse their power and have been condemning people. This has caused many to be killed, enslaved and many other things. The people on top have been taking advantage of this new religion and now use it like a weapon to threaten people.

(Valens) @Potatomancer- Vote: Scout for Dungeons (Roll: 16)

Valens Outcome

Valens leaders told scouts to find a dungeon for their own uses. The scouts went out searching during the search they found new foods and animals. Some animals were rabbit like animals with hors on their forehead to be used as a defense against predators. The scouts finally found a dungeon while searching they had found some spells (an anti-magic shield simple), (Silence this spell makes it, so no one can say anything, so spells can’t be used). During the search they had also found some goblins, Wraiths, and Nightmares. When they beat some goblins, they had also obtained a few iron swords to be of use for their village. With everything they had found the scouts returned to their village.

Oh no, they’re starting to learn…

Vote 1: In the middle of the night, kill all who knew about Fiod, and wipe the memory of everyone afterwards.

Vote 2: Destroy more records about Fiod.

Oof, well, that could have gone better.

Vote 1: Leave an offering in apology to the spiders in hopes of repairing our relationship with them.

Vote 2: Since they’re already tamed, let’s try and make contracts with our Tafra instead.

Vote: Use new spells to train anti-magic squads

RP

Serena, the head elder of the librarians was excited upon hearing the news of the new dungeon.
Most importantly, she realized the new spells that were found there could protect the Valens from their former brothers, those lunatic cultists that are lead by Soran, the former village chief. She started a vote on training few of the elite village warriors in those new spells in order to create a counter-measure to those “blessed” madmen that threaten their peace.
While the reports of undead wraith monsters worried her, the new beasts and the armed goblins could be useful for the future of the economy.

Vote:Kick the heretics out of the country and if the refuse send the army

Im surprised you are fine with this new corrupted version of your religion lol
