The persimmon fruit, or the persimmon color?

try one, they’re fantastic. I live on the US west coast so theyre pretty common in big stores (they grow in california and west coastians eat random foods), but they’re grown in the mediteranian, australia of all places, central asia, and especially china, so most places should have some nearby enough weird stores have them. Genuinely one of the better flavors on the planet.

What taste is it then may I ask?

um, it’s a fruit, it’s sweat, kinda rich and deep in a dried-date-like way, if you have a date shake, it’d taste similar to a persimmon shake, though the persimmon one would be more like a regular fruit, a bit more uh… citrusy?? i’m bad at describing flavor.

So like a sweeter lemon like type fruit?

You meant sweet?

oops. yes. i does not taste like sweat.

no. The texture and flavor are quite similar to a dried date, i kept saying it’s flavorful and a bit more citrusy because it is in comparison to a date.

From what I recall dates are one of the sweetest fruits out there, perhaps a bit beyond my liking even

persimons are a bit more normal but still quite sweet

Hm. When I first looked at them when you mentioned them I thought they’d be similar to potatoes for some reason. Appearance can deceive…
