If you don’t mind me asking, how exactly does that work? Are you all conscious at one time or do you switch? And can one of your personalities (I don’t know what else to call them) will themselves into control?
I’ve never met someone with DID before so I apologize if I come across as overly probing.
we co-pilot, if we don’t we forget to perform necessary tasks if we’re moving like paying attention to our surroundings or moving our legs. it’s definitely not like that for everyone who has DID, it wasn’t even like that for us until the shelf incident.

i remember just waking up one day during the summer before that on my birthday and the only memory i have from before that is from 2010 when my parents were retreiving my youngest sibling from the hospital when she was cleared to leave after she spawned in
3 shelves were above us, we were reading, top shelf was covered in books and not very secure, top shelf fell and knocked down all the other shelves hitting us right in the brain case, pretty sure we had a mild concussion at the very least since we know the room wasn’t yellow but we recall it as such in our memories of that incident. 23 out of 25 of us fell in the soup. that’s excluding the tulpas. the result of that is we currently have a blob that is 21 of us and none of them remember their original names but once they find a name they like they split from the blob, that’s happened twice with sylvie and aster being the ones that became not part of the blob from that.
‘blob’ how does that work exactly? Are they all one… being or are they 21 beings that are so… closely linked that they are in a way one being?
And what does ‘the soup’ mean? And what is the process of personalities exiting the blob-thing?
Also why did Willow have an account for so long but you (Dawn) didn’t?
they are several beings that are so closely linked they can’t tell eachother apart and neither can we
the thing that created me. it’s a soup of memories and knowledge and in most people it hits critical mass and ejects them at around 4 or 5 years old, technically i was it and vice versa before but it was the thing that made me become conscious
i read a name one of them likes, the one that likes it decides that name belongs to them now, and they stop being part of the blob
willow had an interest in this game longer than me and i couldn’t justify creating a new email just to only use it for a single thing

It isn’t mentally exhausting if you can control them by threatening to forget them. I get your point though. You want a democracy in your head.
How is Dawn and Willow both online at the same time?
we can’t just be forgotten. if that was the case the tulpa we made to put knowledge into the soup by being the one who is behind our eyes at school back in our first semester of 3rd grade would have disappeared in 2022. they’re the only one that actually doesn’t care if people refer to them with he/him pronouns because we don’t make things to let them suffer and we knew that people would refer to us like that.
2 browsers because we’re the ones who pilot the most and normally we’re co-piloting unless everyone but dawn already fell asleep. also our headmates can be awake while the body is asleep and vice versa so even though we pilot the most we are generally not the ones who have the dreams

But aren’t people sort of conscious since birth? Their brain just develops to the point where they can start to express themselves in complex ways. Like one of my earliest memories (when I was about three, though I’m pretty sure I have one memory from when I was 1-2) was me counting to one hundred in my head and being really proud of myself when I finished. That doesn’t really seem to be unconsciousness.
(Also the earliest memory I have (I’m pretty sure) is sitting in a car with an orange sippy cup).
Why would the eye-tulpa have disappeared in 2022? Also how exactly how does that work with only one being behind the eyes? Does the eye-tulpa relay the information to the rest of the personalities or do they see as well?

generally tey’re just acting on instinct and learned behaviors until their personality develops
well first of all, it’s different for everyone, second of all, i have two memories from before i turned 4 but the first memory i remember having was of my 4th birthday. my memories from before that weren’t created after that but i got them after i woke up one day after turning 4
they were created when we started going to physical school and i didn’t really do that for the latter half of the school year of 2021-2022 as me and my family were moving so we did virtual school
after they got home from school they put any information they learned that has any chance of being useful into the soup, currently and ever since i emerged from the soup putting something in it has been the most effective way to commit something to long term memory. everyone else was just asleep during school, at least that was the case before the shelf incident and ever since then we’ve had to have one of us do school along with the school tulpa
i normally ask more questions when i find something new to me, it’s perfectly fine
Through extensive efforts, a Tulpa can be forgotten. However, they might become active if the human wants the “Tulpa” back.
