For a community celebrations, since this it microbe stage becoming “complete”, perhaps some kind of competition for an in-game microbe species that’d then be voted on by the community to… choose it as the “mascot” of the microbe stage perhaps?

Gotta say, really like this idea here.

And maybe there’d be an art/meme contest afterwards in relation to the “mascot”

I managed to hit multiple quadrillion as a 20-cell multicellular algae in a save file a while back.

The ocean was essentially dead because of the lack of compounds and species splitting off the player isn’t implemented yet in the multicellular stage so I got to a ridiculous population.
