Turn 15

Turn 15 Summary:

850 Ma after the formation of the Phyade I system, the new version of life that came from the stars has begun to settle and diversify on the Treerilia. One unique ability of this new organism on primary of the Treerilia-Xanrillon-Xoruta planetary system is having the propensity for Horizontal Gene Transfer. Another unique ability for the Pansperium Species Clade as whole is the silencing of photosynthesis and oxygen using organelles. If one continues from the previous Thrivium Family Clade organisms in Phase I, then life could be considered as reaching the Order Clade as well. Although the new form of life managed to make it through the Late Heavy Bombardment, and no Ph and High Salt Shock occurred, life will need everything it can to survive on this world with Large Oceans and water currents based on having greater applied force with more exposed surface area.

And those are not all the changes to the world. Forces deep within the planet have started to erupt a new kind of lava, via Drip Tectonics – Felsic, high in silica (>69%). This kind of rock forms the true β€œbackbone” of the early continents. At the same time, different layers of Ultramafic rock called Periodite start to form underneath the primordial Granite. Lhorzite, then Wehrzite, and finally Hezbergite. These kinds of Periodite are different from the Periodite that comprosises the Mantle, being more β€œmature” in terms of Pyroxene and Othropyroxene content. Herzbergite specifically is resistant to melting from Mantle Plumes, forming the cratons, or core, of the continents.

In this new phase for Treerilia, for the next several turns, Granitic Eruptions will occur to slowly increase the amount land, with volcanic eruption percentage increases to 30% for each surface biome. Unlike previous volcanic eruptions, these can occur in clusters, affecting 1-2 biomes at a time. Also reduces the number of species as before, which ranges from a max of 50% loss of species to the mimimum loss of one species for each cluster of biomes affected.

This new Active Geology will continue to influence Treerilia, and it also had an effect of making a Warm Climate. This includes Radioactive Meteors hitting the Banana Biome, Cablevenian Tidepool, and Cablevenian Estuary. The associated increased average temperature is high enough for the Rikystasean Ice Cap to melt, and for the planet to be ice free. Another affect is that the climate has become Unstable, increasing the severity of any possible global ice age periods. And Hydrogen Sulfide now diffuses much more quickly in the world, making the compound more available to any organism that may evolve to use it.

Finally, the Oxygen concentrations in the atmosphere have changed due to the gas becoming dispersed as new land is pushed up (and me failing to get the exact same oxygen concentrations, despite using the same organisms from Phase I as before). Intermediates 0.8.3.0 world. It seems, at least for the foreseeable future, Oxygen in the Treerilia’s atmosphere will continue to have a lingering effect on the world. Will other changes from the remaining Oxygen happen eventually on this fledgling world?

Unovaskysian Epipelagic

Panspermium (Species 94) was the second form of life for Treerilia. Like all of its descendants, the organism has a Temperature Tolerance from 8 degrees C to 28 degrees Celsius, and a Pressure Tolerance from 750 kPa to 1100 kPa. Right in the beginning, the new form of life was struggling to survive. Its sibling cell died from a lack of Glucose. When trying to reach its fallen comrade cell, Panspermium encountered a Phosphate cloud within a strong current. The organism was able to outswim the current, but with great difficulty. And then came a several swarms of other organisms, Renascentia genesis (Mutant 62) – JustaDumbThriver, Panspermium phi (Mutant 65) – doomlightning, Pansperium xenobeta (Subspecies 134) – CatSquared, and Parapanspermium (Mutant 66) – Rocketsgobrrrr. If the larger cells were not a part of the same species, then Panspermium would have to evade all of them.

Renascentia genesis (Mutant 62) was one of the new mutants to emerge after the total extinction of the previous form of life. Unlike the other new organisms of the Panspermium Species Clade, it evolved a Nitrogenase. This was both a proverbial blessing and a curse, as the Nitrogenase decreased the reproduction time, but also increased the Osmoregulation cost to outweight ATP production. When combined with 4.8% Oxygen Tolerance debuff, the unfixable lag damage bug haunted this nitrogenous genesis as it headed Northwest. Upon interacting with Panspermium phi (Mutant 65), the organism completely ran out of Glucose from attempting to swim against a current, and the ATP damage was even worse. Renascentia genesis (Mutant 62) became extinct due to running out of Glucose.

Itsjon Cellula (Mutant 64) was one of the two organisms that evolved an Aggression of 275. The John Cena of the Panspermium Species Clade went North. Even though the organism did not have β€œMy Time Has Come” playing when it entered, this aggressive organism sure must have felt like it did when it found a large Glucose cloud. Inside the cloud were members of Panspermium phi (Mutant 65). What happens when two aggressive organisms meet and they can’t engulf? They keep pushing each other around like Sumo wrestlers.

Panspermium phi (Mutant 65) was the other organism with Aggression behavior increased to 275. This particular organism within the Pansperimium Species Clade retained the ability of Horizontal Gene Transfer. It head Southwest, finding another Glucose Cloud. The Greek alphabet named organism then found members of Panspermium (Species 94) and Pansperium xenobeta (Subspecies 134) in a microbial tug of war. As the Phyade I star set, Xanrillon and Xoruta were visible in the sky.

Pansperium xenobeta (Subspecies 134) was an organism that obtained three characteristics via Horizontal Gene Transfer from one organism of the previous forms of Phase I life, beta gluco (Subspecies 132). Although the 246 in blue pigment wavelength and 135 in Opportunism may not help this new subspecies, the Hydrogenase may give this organism an edge over the rest of the Panspermium Species Clade. If it had interacted with other organisms, of course. Sprinting in its Eastward journey.

Parapanspermium (Mutant 66) was a subpopulation that was an exact copy of Panspermium (Species 94) (I messed up and accidently put species). Head Northwest, it found a large Ammonia cloud. And next to it were members of Panspermium phi (Mutant 65) and Panspermium (Species 94). Then later on, Parapanspermium found members of Renascentia genesis (Mutant 62) and Itsjon Cellula (Mutant 64). Just before the organism was about to divide, it ran out of Glucose from sprinting. Within a close distance was another Glucose cloud, inching closer to it as its health ticked down. Parapanspermium (Mutant 66) went extinct from the need…for speed.

…Small quantities of Felsic Magma erupt in Rikystasean Coastal, Nobelmebanian Seafloor, Remarpanic Seafloor, and Konramcesgon Seafloor, slowly increasing the depth of the Oceans.

…Another Meteor approaches the planet. It ends up going over the vast Oceans, hitting the Remarpanic Epipelagic.
