The age, in terms of Thrive game 100 million turns, changes depending on how far we progress in each version. For 0.8.0.0, it was on the first turn (100 million years). For 0.8.1.1, it was on turn 2 (200 million years) going to turn 3 (300 million years). Depending on what game version I do turn 11 when I return to my main account, it will still be in-btween turn 2 (200 million years) and turn 3 (300 million years). On turn 12, it will be on turn 3 (300 million years).

It depends on how many organisms mutate the next round, and how many organisms survive the next round

From my preliminary test on the computer I got access to using overseas, it looks like the biomes are still the same for the same world seed in 0.8.2.0. I need to check if the conditions are still the same, since that will affect all the organisms due to the new higher tolerance penalties.

We could see a major extinction happen… like always when the version gets upgraded.
