Excellent - everything is just as I expected from my short vacation (I did tests on pollination ecology and plant biotechnology) and is ready exactly as I expected from you. Good job, volunteers. If you’ll allow me to read for a moment…
Very interesting. Definitely very interesting. What we’re doing now - we’re going to make significant history - this is the first time we’ve changed a relatively short interval between basic natural laws. I guess there’s only one way to find out what’s changed, right?
Once again I went back to the “star room” and there I was greeted by the technicians of the place who tour them like eggs in an incubator, looking at the worlds and universes that we create at the company. A normal work day for us, but I’m looking at a nameless world that is only adapting to the slow but most drastic changes. The question arises what would have happened if it had been a whole universe and not a small world like our project, but that’s a question for another time. I start checking the list and start adding the following words and in my synphony, very slowly things started to change.
84.6 million years BC, Late Cretaceous Epoch, Santonian(?) stage
12.4 million years have passed on the nameless world since we started messing with the natural laws of the place. If we were to compare Earth - the model of imitation and this nameless world, we would see a completely parallel world that behaves completely differently.
So I change the first law - Controllable to “spawning”. The combination of these two words as soon as I inserted them, all the imitators stopped moving. The slimes that were created with the introduction of the law dissolved before they resumed functioning as soon as the bacteria, which were smarter (with a question mark) began to control the imitators and with the direction of evolution they are no longer created as cannon fodder to protect themselves. Like a wall and skin, they have swelled up even more. This is not a sign that the others that have been affected so far also show similar behaviors. Could see a lot of bacteria die and even return to viability. The insects, compared to the other animals that were affected before, took this to the extreme.
Who knew that giving power to the ants was probably something that was not allowed to be messed with, now that they have an immortal army that no one could stop them except their own clones. Where there used to be forests, they have now become giant nests that spread out over vast areas, pushing and creating human-like wars between other giant nests.
But that’s not the only thing - the walking plants began to use the bodies of the mimics to give them greater volume. Against the vegetarian dinosaurs that began to adapt to the situation, size is significant for protecting themselves. This caused such great pressure that some of the significant herbivorous dinosaurs in many parts of the world - especially, ironically, the sauropods - the largest of the dinosaurs whose young children had to deal with the chaotic microcosm that had been created, could do nothing against the moving trees and the attacks of sophisticated insects.
The oceans also showed no different change with the change while the lower chain, still at the mercy of the ocean currents, still served as prey for the larger ones, but algae began to move like snakes on the water but this was not enough for those herbivores to devour them. It just added food to gather there and nothing changed.
Virgo reached such a power that it began to affect the larger creatures and nothing is more surprising than the effects of the explosion of the population of small lizards who began to ambush the eggs to prey on them.
But when I changed to the words - “Imaginary Life” and together with “Arcane Souls” something amazing happened - those souls, who could not die before in the previous incarnation, now began to dissolve as well. All those bacteria, worms and mesofauna and walking grasses that died, began to gently connect one by one, in a random way. Something erupted there among the alien power of Vigor. The souls turned into energy and returned to a new form that was no longer seen. Their bodies were transparent in different backgrounds, now the dead are no longer dead and become souls stuck among the living. The walking grasses and flowers that relied on the complex of souls to start their creation, lost their usual power and began to die while many used the souls to add more power, now many of them were lost to them.
But from within them this doom, an alien power not seen before arose - they incarnated and with Vigor, created forms of those that were lost, but at the same time - completely different. This is the first time a spirit has been born like this and with Vigor sustaining their existence, they have been granted abilities that can only be described as magic. While not significant at the moment, controlling the energy flows of Vigor like Arcane, it seems that controlling the power of environmental manipulation is only just beginning to become a reality.
Some of those newly born spirits have begun to unite with other living souls - some of the slimes chosen by the spirits, have united and begun to harden and form bubbles of energy that temporarily do nothing while others in the food chain such as certain worms and insects, have begun to become sweet and gain basic magical abilities.
It seems that an incredible development has begun to occur as I introduced the fourth change - “Psyonics Intelligent” which has really begun to realize its potential.
Spirits began to gather into the eggs of dinosaurs and birds and began to partially distort their bodies and give them abilities that as soon as they hatched - they were born with unprecedented magic-like abilities such as tilcatintes and telepathy and there is also a statement for tiny control abilities over Vigor. They surprised my expectations of their formation.
But this had a price, all living beings that had been affected by Vigor so far, suddenly lost their intelligence and everything suddenly fell apart and they lost their stability - insects began to scatter, slimes began to disintegrate and jellyfish began to swarm randomly - like a civilization that collapsed due to stupidity - so their achievements suddenly disappeared. But the same void that was created - spirits began to take over them and temporarily replace them.
Vigor continued to climb throughout life and now as it came to the small lizards who had only a short window to thrive with a boost of intelligence, blurring their doom as quickly as the giant swarms that intelligence had slaughtered and they as they appeared, began to destroy themselves and make way for walking vegetation that now partly merged with spirits, and those that remained and survived the drastic change, began to become something that more closely resembled the behavior of classic Ents than the fairy tales of humans from real Earth. Although small as ancient grasses and flowers that learned to walk, now they are few with mimics that they control, able to control Vigor to a certain extent in order to survive.
Ammonites in the sea also began to show “enchantment” while those that prey on them, the wheel began to turn. With the ability to use ink and spirits, they began to use the water around them to drown themselves and quickly began to take over the oceans while the krill and jellyfish lost their intelligence.
You could call them “the rulers of the sea”. And this only strengthened when I introduced the last change - " Complex Mind", turned part of the wheel that happened before backwards - for some insects that had previously lost their intelligence, their minds began to divide and improve to compensate for the loss, but this is not a familiar intelligence. No… it was something much more disturbing. With the ability to control the mimics and Vigor, some insects began to merge with the mimics and create twisted bodies of horrific physical deformity as in the case of a telekinetic beetle that united its horns and 5 wings and 7 eyes that began to cause one like Warlord who experiments with more mimics of themselves, a sight that can be described as a sin against nature.
The giant nests of self-murdering ants had already been lost before I could change the law but their scars had already been left behind while the surviving dinosaurs had already adapted and their evolutionary pressure had already influenced the vast majority of them to build on speed and agility or be more armored. Ankylosaurs were the biggest winners of the large dinosaurs with their armor that was resistant to change, now with no competition from the extinct giants, they have since swelled to larger sizes while their spirit-fused descendants began to show control and manipulation of the land around them.
The smaller relatives of the Holicopterans that had received the spirit-fusion showed signs of physical strengthening and even something resembling the emission of energy and vigor like dragon fire. Theropods also showed physical deformation of long knife-like arms and full of nervous paralysis with vigor.
These days, it’s no different with the rise of the ammonites, the sea creatures that wield magic. It seems that the world is no longer a world of the familiar dinosaurs - it’s a world of dinosaurs and magic.
But wait… there’s something else I missed when I finished reviewing the changes - Vigor continued to bubble up to the higher levels. Although there are cheaters among the dinosaurs, there are 5 other groups that have begun to profit from the changes that are so significant that I’m only now telling about them:
Equipped with what look like pointed sticks, they moved through the forests, following the footsteps of giant wind flies that were distorted by the fourth change - which was struck by a wind that got out of control. For him - just wanting to survive for a few more days, but for them - those little hunters covered in colorful plumage and wing claws that barely hold the sticks, this is prey.
They followed the footsteps only to see in the bushes that they were late when the fly fell into the hands of winged creatures with teeth on their beaks, holding stones in their feet dripping with the fly’s excrement. They were more or less their size, but they were already tearing off the fly’s rostem and hanging it on one of their legs. They were looking at each other as if they were seeing aliens hungry to eat each other.
Not far away on the branches with their whiskers and their ears while holding their bodies with their beaks and equipped with giant beetle wings and at its tip also crawling for food of good fruits and easy-to-hunt insects, watching them from afar not before moving their minds not to interfere in what could be a battlefield between the minds and the senses.
Also, while hunting for electric shrimp and fish - seabirds tried to trap small prey in clam shells, only to find that the magic ammonites were ahead of them and managed to neutralize their traps in the shells of their fellow slaves.
I would have liked to tell more about what is happening in the world because of the change you have made to it, but it would no longer be a short story. I fear we have brought forward the formation of the Celestial Eve or something like that, with the dinosaurs being pushed into a corner by plants, insects and fungi (!) smart and magical, but not without fighting back and even the entry of ghosts into the story… I’m afraid I know why we have to be careful with this experiment, because things are getting crazy.
Mmm… let’s see what the points situation is now… The biggest change - it caused havoc by changing one rule. I think you can see in the table what caught my eye and maybe use that as an example.

Good work there - you can see for yourself how much you are breaking these rules when you change or add something to it - a small change can have big consequences and you were able to see like now what exactly is happening there. Looking forward to seeing what else you think of it… (And I have a headache just writing and thinking about all this)
