That’s the problem with limiting the factor of difficulty impacting realism.
Would the language be partially based off the default language chosen by the player (if a person speaks, say, Portuguese), or would it be completely unrelated to the default language chosen in Thrive settings?
What if a person switched their language midgame?
Unrelated, although the player made language would probably be influenced by the player’s language (Latin naming conventions and such)
Well that is to be expected, isn’t it?
I think this is an amazing concept that Thrive should use! Good idea!
I really like this idea, especially
but I’m not sure about what you mean by modifying neurons. Do you mean modifying the organelle in the cell editor or a more general brain editor?
Cell editor. Like how you can edit lysosomes to do certain tasks.
Would this be related to neuronal pathways in a theoretical brain editor? Like how birds and humans have direct neuronal pathways that connect speech to thinking.
I suppose a brain editor would help one do certain actions, or optimize them atleast…
I don’t think so, it would be simplified to just having to add the certain type of neuron to the brain to get language.
Kind of like how you just need to add neurons to get more intelligent
Would these neurons perhaps come from a precursor neuron type?
Yes, they come from going to the cell editor for your brain cells and modifying the neuron from “Pyramedial” to “Interneural”. Kind of like how you can change your lysosomes to digest cellulose.
This capability would only be unlocked when you enter awakening proper?
