You’ve readen what the “goblinoid axis” way saying? They plan on getting a world domination. Yes, immediate war shouldn’t be our top priority, but we need to consider the fact that a world war is rather inevitable in the setting.

This is Western pre-WW2 approach. Note that goblinoids have the trait of exponential reproducion, causing population explosions. Essentialy, the further you delay this war, the stronger the rivals will become when compared to you. You will reach the point when you will become a vassal of them have you not tried to break out of this cycle.

pretty sure it’s more likely gonna be goblins vs swarmlings vs lohendral, voidspawn, featherhorns, ORBs, and probably the shellcores as well since the goblins want to become the dominant species through violence and the swarmlings might be trying to eliminate all magic they don’t understand when the game starts

It doesn’t matter how far the The Infection gets, once it has entered the body of the victim it starts killing them. And, the parasite can burrow into the pocket dimension and back out, stopping the tentacles from working. Once that has happened, you will be vunreble to attacks.

There is currently no alliances that I know of other than the ones with The Children of Cuthulu.

Edit: None of the alliances can really happen until the civs meet each other.
