You tunnel through the ground and wait for prey. The large amounts of noise grow stronger as a large deer-like creature walks next to you, its horns are the size of a small car. You lunge out of your hiding place and snap at the creature, your skill [Claw Usage lv.1] guides your claw to its calf, where you anchor your body to it. You tear at your prey until it’s no more. The prey gives you 3 biomass and Levels you up, as well as your skill.

You go back to the swarm, they receive your presence well, some even looking in awe as you drag the large carcass through the colony. After finding a safe place, you add one biomass to your claws, you feel them strengthen far beyond their normal capacity.

You hide in the hive before making your first workers, though sloppy, these workers are fully loyal to you. With biomass allocated to the Brood Maker, their max stats increase by one, and with the teach skill, they also increase by one. Your workers, while stupid, are strong enough to take on a spine lizard if there are enough of them. You now have ten workers providing you 2 biomass a round. Your brood designer skill also levels up.

The sounds of battle ring out, and giant, crocodile-like monsters wreck the deeper parts of the strata. The garrlosh are fearsome creatures that rule the upper strata. You, desperate to help the colony, quickly add biomass to your carapace and purchase stealth, sneaking up on a garrlosh, you aim your acid towards its head, while the rest of the colony attacks its feet. The aim is so perfect that you gain a new skill, [Aim Lv.1], the acid impacts the large creature’s eye as its head fizzles, it has died. You quickly go up the colony and take some of the biomass, due to the creature’s level, you gained 3 biomass and two levels.
