Pathogenic bacteria at the multicellular+ stage

“Viruses” are not considered alive by most definitions.

That will depend on how detailed and graphic the devs what to get, though I hope that becomes possible.

The biggest problem with that, the current plan involves a jarring jump from multicellular to macroscopic. It would be a lot of work to smoothly bridge that gap, though maybe we will get lucky and some future dev or modder will feel it is worth their time to implement.

Through I don’t think this playstyle should be the priority for the devs to develop once we get to macroscopic/aware.

yeah i imagine it’d be worked on a bit like in industrial or society if the devs want realistic plagues you’d have to make medicine for

Perhaps awakening even, maybe you’d have to find the correct herbs to bring your tribemates back to being healthy…

It’d have to be adapted to multiple different trees of life, which pretty sure is not possible…

That is true tho… i guess it could only infect aliens that have similar biology to it.
