Real Creature Recreation project

Thankfully most players don’t build microbes with so many cilia that they cause severe lag issues.

Yeah… Also, I’m thinking of making a Dinoflagellate next.

Edit: I made it! https://www.mediafire.com/file/1nzzhnhpl4o6rtr/Dinoflagella+thrivium.thrivefossil/file

That reminds me of a certain FG…

What is the speed of these things in game? Can they move at all?

They are VERY slow. Good thing they don’t need to move to compund clouds, they have photosynthesis…

Correct me if I am wrong, but are these Dinoflagellates supposed to have Flagella?

They really don’t matter that much, so I discounted them.

In terms of re-creation accuracy, or movement?

Both, kinda. They don’t make the thing move faster than it’s painfully slow movement speed, and are not really sticking out when you see the alga.

Is the Dinoflagellate you were creating a thecate or non-thecate? And where are the Lysosomes and Vacuoles/vacuomes?

I forgot about them, I geuss… Ah well, too late to fix it.

I recall there was a different “cell recreation” challenge thing quite some time ago now…

Yeah, but it was in Other Creativity I think.

That doesn’t mean the cells posted here didn’t belong there.

Yeah, good point. I should make a Choanoflagellate next, because of a certain FG of mine…

Making one of the multicellular organisms from that FG would also be possible had the cell-shifting bug not existed…

The bane of organisms with cavities.

Thankfully to be fixed by 2.0.0.

Choanoflagellates actually exist in real life, and are the closest relatives to animals:Choanoflagellate - Wikipedia

I know, I meant that making “hollow cell-balls” isn’t really possible at the moment.
