Rise - Alien Societies Game

I’ll wait for at least four people to join

I wanna start a new game, as i don’t know who of the previous players won’t join again, and some new people could join

Yeah i join again

I think there only been 1 completed forum game but a game usually stay dead once it dies

me gonna join again too

Wait which game was it?

So three people have confirmed to join, only one more and the game will start (ok it won’t as the species aren’t all made)

Actually, 4 people have confirmed to join
Me
TeaKing
Evolution4Weak
OoferDoofer

oh, then we almost can start, now i just need the description for every player’s species

Can I design my planet, too, or that’s randomised by the GM

Project terra is the only one i can remember that ended properly

well everyone is in the same planet, and i already made it (not really, just reused a planet i once made)

this is at least in this version of the game

Description: The Zanthinir are an elegant race. They can run very fast, and have extremely fast reastion times. Their lifespans are 90-170 years, but they have few children. Zanthinir are masters with their hands, and can craft anything from a bow to a clock.

@Mr.Pigeon we are all playing on the same planet

Ooh, I thought we all start in different planets and like conquer space and stuffs

Am i able to use my old species as i like them

that’s actually a very interesting idea, but it would take more effort for me to make 3 more planets with climate map, mountain ranges and resource maps

(Sorry for taking long, but I needed to find that picture+making a name is hard lol)

Name: The Ee’vo

Description: A humanoid-looking mollusks (basically human-looking snails) that inhabit the rainy parts of the planet. The average lifespan is ~40 years and the species reproduces asexually. There are two types of eevos - The Outsiders (my type) and The Insiders. The Outsiders are taller and more Intelligent. They’re the main species. The Insiders have parasitic lifestyle and are smaller and dumber. They’re sub-species. (If that’s allowed)

@OoferDoofer can you give me your diet and habitat?
@Mr.Pigeon, @TeaKing can you give me your diet?

the zanthinir live in large forests. they are omnivores, but usually only eat vegetables

My creature is omnivores, so it’s eating basically everything. But because hunting is energy consuming, the creature is eating mainly various exotic fruits

mine are omnivorous, but they like fruits more

Turn 0 - New Begginings

As a meteor fell in our world, the once developing species were slowly going extinct, but this wouldn’t stop two of them. As time passed, other species appeared, and the old ones were once again starting their development. What will come out of this new start?

@OoferDoofer

In a strange, and almost magical forest, a new group appeared, 10 Zanthinir were uniting for their survival.

What You See

Here you will know what is going around you, or at least what your people see that’s going around them

This forest is full of fruit, but also has many predators, getting some food may be dangerous, but not getting it may be deadly.

What You Know

Like in the first Rise game, this is all of the important knowledge of your people, probably won’t be used when you become a society

Nothing, for now.

@TeaKing

When the meteor fell, most of the Kavra’uda population died, but some groups hid for years, until the meteor’s effect finally ended. And now, when new species appeared and the dust finally settled, a small Kavra’uda group finally stopped hiding.

What You See

Here you will know what is going around you, or at least what your people see that’s going around them

A beautiful rainforest surrounds you, everywhere you see, birds and plants appear. But after analysing everything, you finally noticed another group of Kavra’uda, they seem hostile, and you might want to avoid them

@Evolution4Weak

The way of life of the Dribma never changed with the meteor, though some of them died from the initial impact, most survived. And while they didn’t invent anything, and lost all they once had, their lifes stayed. But a group didn’t want to just be another animal, they wanted something more.

You can see a few trees around you, some grass, animals, but nothing more. You can’t see a lot of edible things.

@Mr.Pigeon

As many species appear, some have gained sentience. This is the case of the Ee’vo, a species of the rainy parts of the world, but there’s infighting between two groups of Ee’vo.
