Rotifera

Yeah! Your major mutation is egg-eating, what’s your minor mutation?

Better stealthiness is what that’ll be.

Alright! I need your species name, and then it’s the wait for 2 players!

Maybe AA and Cha will come in clutch once again?

Can we mutate only rotifers or can we also mutate other life forms? (for example algae, amoebas, etc.)

I think it’s only rotifers, if we could mutate other lifeforms, then the FG wouldn’t be a single-species seedworld…

in Serina, as a one-seeded world, there is also the evolution of not only canaries (fish and ants also evolved there). I think the evolution of other organisms is allowed.

I know, but I meant that probably we are only allowed to control rotifers (and whatever do they evolve into).

Yeah. Rotifers only. @domin2ktr, hopefully that’s not a turnoff.

How long do you plan to support this project before all the 3 required players join in?

As long as I can. But that has some MASSIVE variation.

Yeah, especially as the rotifers are going to be the sole animals of this seedworld, meaning all the animal niches will belong to them…

Actually, let’s make a poll for if there should be coral and whatnot.

Corals and anemones?
  • Yes, they’ll make the oceans look cool!
  • No, I can’t pronounce “anemone!”

They also shouldn’t be much of competition when it comes to lineagemaking AND they will provide new habitats to conquer.

I will not that by participating in this poll, you will participate in this FG. Except me, because GMs are different from players.

Also I guess AA sort of joined now that they voted in the poll?

MM: A symbiosis between a rotifer and a stentor, in which the rotifers attached to the stentor use their mouth as more efficient cilia for their host in exchange for food.
mm: specialization of the rotifers’ mouths for more efficient movement.

MM: A rotifer becomes even larger, now being able to prey upon juvenile rotifers of smaller kinds even
mm: Smaller chance of cannibalism

Actually, there are no stentors on this world. You can still do symbiosis with other things, though. Like… maybe the algae?

That’d be the planimal route I suppose.
