That is important for ships.

They’re kind of like dolphins in a way, i’m still working it out.

No try, do

I’ll do what I must

Go now, restore order to the galaxy

Everyone knows games now a days are just stealing other games’ mechanics and adding something new. Such a lack of creativity.

Like all COD Black Ops games are.

It’s almost like after years of development we know what sells / is fun, crazy right?

Seriously though, if you want creative games, you don’t go to AAA games

You check out inde devs / smaller companies like Spiderling, Landfall, scraping bottom games, Wube Software, etc.

I’ll admit, I do take ideas from other sources for my own creation. Over time, however, I add on onto it and change the story, or at least aspects of it, until it becomes its own thing.

It’s a slow process, but I have had my own ideas, not everything I have is copy of something else.

I am pretty much the opposite, i make my own ideas and they end up getting influenced by other sources overtime :joy:

Well, we all have our opposites

Anyways, i’ve been working on a little somethin’ somethin for awhile now, which is how the Umbruke developed as a species.

Being a very advanced spacefaring alien race, you have to start somewhere, so I’ve been working on how they developed technology as a primitive species.

Here are some ideas I had in mind:

  1. In the past, the primitive Umbruke use lakes and reservoirs that consisted of carbon dioxide and methane, which occasionally spewed out hot gas and water. For example, the Rwandan government has used the gas from one of these lakes to create an impressive amount of power.

  2. Another way they obtained electrical power was they used fluorescent protein that causes some forms of wildlife on Mosskurn to glow to release electrons and, ultimately, to produce electricity. Some medical fields benefit directly from this technology. Fuel cells made from theprotein, for example, can be used to power tiny devices, which can then be used to detect and manage certain diseases.
