How many cells would you need for human-level intelligence?

depends on way too many factors to make a guess rn
but if, say, every cell has enough processing power to run a very tiny 3d printer, and have 4 detailed senses that its brain can process(sight, smell, touch, sound), and has to be able to react to them, then it’ll be a lot more than if every one was just used for pure processing power
but, going off of raw processing power, a human brain averages abt 1 exaflop(1,000,000,000,000,000,000 operations per second), but only about 1/5 of that is used for thinking

I like crazy near-impossible projects, and you explanation is satisfactory to my very limited intellect, so I’ll allow it

Hopefully nothing OP comes out of this…

well if it does, based on my original plan for this creature, it’ll probably be possible to to have a creature perform ectocellular endosymbiosis to get all of my processing power abilities
esp if someone makes a branch that’s a generalist parasite

That’s a pretty big IF I think…

if nobody else does i will

Not sure it’s fun to be a parasite since it’s like being a predatory species but worse I think.

we’re allowed to have multiple species’ iirc, but we just still only have the same amount of mutations and actions, not tied to the number of species

I see. Hopefully FC doesn’t get overwhelmed…
