Specific Organelles for fat cells?

With the implementation of actomyosin for muscle cells and upcoming plans for nerve cells, should the fat reservoir in fat cells get its own organelle in the multicellular stage as well?

Considering there are three types of Adipose Tissue: Brown, Beige, and White, we might need to add modifications to Mitochondria. White Adipose had very little Mitochondria and a very large lipid droplet/triglycride reservior, causing the cells to be whitish. Brown Adipose has a lot of Mitochondria and relatively small amount of lipid in droplets; the Mitochondria give Brown Adipose its color, and those Mitochondria have a higher Beta-oxidation/lipid oxidation rate. Beige Adipose has more Mitochondria than White Adipose, but higher lipid content than Brown Adipose.

Somewhat unrelated are Perilipid Droplet Mitochondria in Muscles. As the name suggests, the Mitochondria are next to a lipid droplet in Muscle cells/myocells. They too have higher oxidation rate and might be important for muscle respiration.

Would this adipose organelle be derived from vacuoles?

The question as always is what the gameplay benefits would be.

You can make a specialized storage cell right now using vacuoles. Even specialized for glucose specifically(and IRL fat is mostly just a denser, longer-term glucose storage). So the question becomes what for example a lipid droplet organelle would add.

And undoubtedly there are many possible answers, but are they worth the development time?

So would for gameplay purposes energy storage biomaterials like lipids and storage sugars be merged together into one thing managed by sugar vacuoles?

I’m just saying that right now functionally those are merged into one thing.

I suppose even without a distinction being made in the future for those, it’d still be possible to make stuff like brown adipose tissue without much problem. Maybe making the distinction could become an optional feature somewhere in macro/aware development
