If people moved away from the city, it would definitely lend credit to that idea. However, going outside is so dangerous, I don’t think anyone in their right mind would want to go outside of the city. Especially after the city was attacked.

It has been a month since the Congress reconvened among the survivors, and we have heard from them a living voice. And we are still, according to many reports, trying to restore what we can. The wall is still breached, but the good news is that no attack has been reported from outside in the last month… But the situation there is not encouraging in the worst possible condition. There are important reports that will be expanded on later. I suppose I will share your reports with you.
But before you read them, I want to say that we have managed to restore the electrical system to full capacity after heavy efforts in drilling into the depths of the caldera. Fortunately, we did not encounter compacted and difficult drilling materials. But despite the full restoration of the electrical system, the infrastructure itself is still in the process of being restored and many areas are inaccessible, and the shortage of copper only makes it more difficult. Those whose infrastructure did survive, such as medical, industrial and military centers, are supplied with full power, will help restore it a little, although not enough.

Thanks to the return of the electrical infrastructure in industrial and medical centers such as the biology laboratory built before the disaster, they were able to return to normal operation. With the project you gave them, it didn’t take long in the single month that they had already released plant varieties (using the CRISPR technology that survived and reemerged) that are as short as the Green Revolution, and a number of varieties such as dwarf wheat and similar low-growing plants are already ready for planting.
Although, distributing this to residents, in the current situation, growing them themselves is a noble idea, but a different reality is that people are more busy surviving than growing… And many don’t exactly know how to grow plants - even with a small size, it still requires agricultural knowledge that has been largely lost. Kind of resembles the monster from the horror game Carrion. A decent-sized creature comprised of deep red worm-like zooids, and prefers to configure itself in a multi-limbed serpent or vaguely Chinese dragon-like structure.

According to your recommendation, using volcanic stones found in the area and converting them into building material to repair the Western Wall could help, by grinding the basalt stones into cement and mixing them with water and sand, to serve as concrete, and the remaining granite stones that cannot be ground, to serve as a connecting base like bricks. This has proven to be a certain success and at least as a first aid, the wall base has already been restored, but only to a height of at least 1 m before all the sand for cement has been used up.. and it is problematic to find sand in our area. But it will make the work of the military guards on the dismantled wall a little easier.
The use of the silicon-based organism used in the pilot also did not exactly help with maintenance, as they also need external materials that are not exactly accessible at the moment.

With the disaster that occurred, chaos was still prevalent among the residents, but with an organized team and in collaboration with some of the groups, the team you commanded began efforts at organization, rehabilitation, and housing. Especially with the movement of resources for construction from the destroyed areas, the ability to constantly organize and house has helped more than ever in the current situation to regain control of many affected areas. Community rehabilitation is also a consideration, along with the distribution of food and critical resources, most residents are currently in a better situation than ever after the disaster of course.
No logistical problems have been reported thanks to the efforts that are also coming from the residents themselves to rebuild. Order has pretty much returned to the damaged streets or is being repaired, but in the flattened area there is no entity at all that can be given order and organization and is only used for evacuation and navigation of resources to more critical places and also for some residents this is only a temporary solution until the damaged areas are also completely rebuilt.

Abi was created by uploading the brain of scientist ‘Dr. Moli (DATA MISSING’, he exhibits strange personality quirks such as talking in third person and erratic speech patterns.

Abi doesn’t really look like anything due to his digital nature, although he will upload himself into various machinery. Abi’s main form is a 7 foot tall humanoid machine that has 6 tentacle -like flexible arms coming out of his shoulders. Abi can connect to large weaponry and fire with extreme accuracy, one pitfall of his design is due to him being an uploaded human and NOT a true artificial intelligence meaning he must take psychological breaks and must be stimulated.

From all the disaster, the few who could research began to measure themselves in researching battle technology. It is still in the works, but there are current experiments using mortars filled with gunpowder and non-ferrous metal bullets to cause more damage to attackers and another type of ammunition to reduce the laser guns from the alien technology that the protagonists used in their attack… a kind of reverse engineering to our advantage.. But it will take a while before it was militarily usable, but there are hopes that it will succeed.

The Event brought along with it many tragedies, and among them one of the saddest may have been the almost total annihilation of dogs; the very few that remained became a commodity that only the very richest in the city could afford. So when the son of an infamous buisnessman registered his dog, Buddy, for a ministerial election he quickly gained everyone favour, a beacon of hope in the post-apocaliptic Sublimpolis, he shattered every record becoming the most voted figure ever; now no one actually wanted to put a dog in charge of something important, but to not upset the population they just invented a new position for the dog, the minister of cuteness thinking no harm would came of it. One day, however, the dog suddenly gained the ability to talk! To most this was explained as a miracle caused by the power of love, but the actual truth, known to very few, is much more simple: the buisnessman, seeing an oppurtunity to expand his power on the city, installed a small loudspeaker in the dogs collar, to make him say whatever he wants.

No trace of this congressman has been found. There are signs that he is alive, being far from the impact area, but he has not made contact since the events. It is assumed that he is still alive but his traces have been lost.
And now I suppose that’s all your reports that I’ve given you, we’re in relatively good shape so far, following this we as the emergency team have released your budget limit, but it’s still too early to rejoice, because one of our teams has detected suspicious movement in a strategic place in terms of resources - the nearby city ruins.
As some of you know - a reconnaissance team was sent to check the city’s condition. The latest information on the place was not updated for about two years, but with the team that was sent there… two-thirds of them were deleted and transport vehicle 1 was destroyed. The rest of the team and the transport returned to us with unusual injuries that have already been sent for medical treatment that managed to rehabilitate.
According to this report - this city has been completely taken over by a crazy creature in the category that can only be described as ‘deadly’. According to a physical description from an unfortunate encounter with them - they are some kind of combination of giant wasps, spiders and termites that began to nest among the empty ruins and took over a large majority of the city’s ruined area. We don’t have a name for them yet, but the physical description is as follows:
They are giant insects, the smallest of which are the size of a human teenager and the largest of which are the size of a car, with eight legs, four large wings, four compound eyes that cover the entire field of vision, 3 stings in the abdomen, with two of them designed to create threads similar to spider silk, but weaker and not sticky, and a huge central sting that will make needle-fearers faint. Their exoskeleton is relatively soft and their sting does not contain poison, but they are very fast and athletic both in the air and on land and with the larger ones they are able to shoot acid that can cause blindness or irritation similar to non-life-threatening burns. They have mandibles strong enough to tear apart a car frame but they are not exactly accurate. The real problem is the quantity, which is so great that they cannot be counted. They are all over the place. Shooting them with bullets can kill them, but being fast and moving like a swarm, they are unstoppable with hot ammunition weapons like gunpowder weapons.
Those who managed to escape, this is thanks to the sacrifice of the others and according to additional information, it is assumed that they are not avid carnivores, these are more omnivorous than expected, with their nest consisting of the same webs and mud that can be found in termites and mud wasps. The serious concern is that the distance from the city ruins to here is at least 100 km and we don’t know their hunting range could overlap with ours. And also because of their huge numbers… It would be a very bad idea to try to get close to this city if at all… We are pretty desperate for construction resources. We will need to find an alternative.
That’s all the information I have to give you about it.
Other than that, the city itself is being rebuilt at a satisfactory pace, but the wall itself will take a lot of time and materials that are not exactly accessible to us at the moment.
Regarding the vague rectangle, there is nothing new.

Vote 1: look into trying to find a decent spot to start quarrying and mining for materials, I’m not sure if there was a designated quarry that was used when the city was built so look into that. + 2 manpower

Probably, on the bright side any guards present can send an early warning if hostile forces approach, which could be beneficial in the long run.
