In light of the current situation, over the past month - thanks to the vigilance of scouts sent by one of the ministers here - we managed to avert a disaster!

A swarm of winged, flying snake-like creatures, nicknamed ‘Aphreyans’ (rated in the ‘watched’ category), advanced towards the broken western wall and were shown to be particularly aggressive, but not particularly dangerous. The problem is how they managed to get so close to the city. If there had been no early observation, it could have ended differently.

The swarm reached the size of hundreds and they all moved below the treetops. The reason for this is unknown, but this is the battle report:

Injured: 90~

Killed: 0

They are relatively easy to kill thanks to experimental plasma technology developed by reverse engineering, increasing the chances of survival, but they are still no substitute for familiar firearms.

Another report before I give you the report:

We have received hope for the discovery of the ruins of a new very large city closer than the previous one (about 50 km from our city), which until now was inaccessible because it was in the territory of giant water snakes and mangroves that have not yet been explored.

Additional information: This is a flooded coastal city with strong tidal fluctuations, preventing permanent settlement of creatures - both marine and terrestrial. Except for the beginning of fire coral colonies and sparse food sources in the sea, no marine creatures were found except for ‘seabirds’ (which is in question as long as the tour continues).

This is a perfect and idyllic candidate city for quarrying and obtaining necessary resources for our city, only the problem is that reaching it by means of transport is traced through mountains and uneven terrain that is friendly to them, will probably be difficult.

So - I am giving you a short report this time because there is no There’s more to tell you. This is for a change - a quiet month (except for what was written in your report and written here)

V1: Try to locate any other city other than the bug infested one +1

V2: Start developing Electric Vehicle tech so that we are less tied to fuel production +1

Here is a brief report of the findings:

Scouts were deployed to search for other city fires in the last place, in light of the assessment that we cannot deal with a dangerous swarm as described. And surprisingly - against all odds, towards the ocean, which was previously inhabited by a swarm of giant sea snakes (category: Lethily) is not in the area, allowing for a more smooth passage of scouts through and with it - a half-submerged coastal city, but devoid of known dangerous elements. As the scouts passed through the flooded streets, except for the beginning of fire coral colonies (category: Unpredictable), the somewhat strong currents of the tides do not allow for a constant movement of more deadly creatures, which is a good sign for us: because this city is huge and especially rich in all the resources we are desperately seeking.

The only problem is getting there - through unexplored mangroves and an unflat terrain that is not friendly to vehicles, it would be quite difficult to move and create a permanent passage of resources - but desperation and the fact that it is geographically closer to us (about 50 km compared to 80 km of the known ruins) - this is the ideal and hope for the city of all of us.

Speaking of transportation: I received a report on the transition to electric transportation (EV) and according to the conclusions: we managed to fully restore the technology using reverse engineering from the plasma vehicles from the last battle that were still scattered in the area. The only problem right now is that we do not have enough materials and experts to start creating such means of transportation (lithium is not a common thing, you know) but with the new city we discovered - we will probably be able to sense this potential growth.

According to the reports that you can write here: It seems that your ideas are not exactly working in your favor.

Very quickly, to put everything in - scouts were sent to try to scout for temporary sources of resources. They returned to the last location of a known iron ore, but as a result of the fighting, this place collapsed and cannot be reconstructed quickly for now. Apart from these, nothing else has been found in the last month, but with the discovery of the new city (ruins), it probably won’t be a first priority.

But as for the level of education at the moment, we can say that it is poor. Before there were no schools and now there are none, which you are probably not aware of - but the number of children in relation to adults is very different, and I mean according to the latest demographic survey - only about 19,000 children were born by humans in the last year - less than 1% growth. This trend has been going on since the founding of this city - the absolute majority of the city’s residents are refugees… It’s complicated for me too because we are still organizing the information, but in short: there is not enough reason to have schools where everyone is trying to survive.

Vote 1: Look for available farming land inside the caldera.

Vote 2: send a party of scouts out to see if any plants have been affected(positively) or unaffected by the apocalypse. +2

According to a report from the command that you asked to pass on to others, what I have written here for you is the following: A survey of agricultural areas within the caldera concluded that there is no longer any land suitable for agriculture, but there is other land that after cultivation (such as the land that is mainly heavy metals) can be used for proper and healthy grain growing… but this is not a top priority due to the ongoing restoration work and the active activity of the army.

On the other hand, scouts returned to the city with a collection of plants that were thought to be lost to humanity and managed to grow outside the Madness without problems. I give the following list of findings:

  1. Corn - This is found in the mountains a little far from here, although in the past it is known that they were very common, no seed could grow, until now - seeds have successfully germinated from them and are immediately ready for planting.

  2. Aloe vera - A medicinal plant that grows very slowly, but multiplies quickly. This is a plant that loves to talk and we don’t have any desert areas (ironically), but finding them is a blessing. I know they were also eaten in the past.

  3. Millet - This wonder plant is very close to wheat and corn, but unlike them - it is a very hardy plant and is known to grow in areas known for drought and hard soil. The most perfect plant for growing on the current lands we have, and probably even a ‘super food’ for humans and farm animals.

  4. Saffron - It’s like a legend come to life. This flower, which is called ‘red gold’ according to the archives, the king of spices, is the most surprising plant on the list - because it only grows in a single place that is relatively close to the ruins of the infected city. No one knows how they are grown, but their tubers have been collected in an attempt to multiply them.

Assumes that all new plants, which are added to existing ones (grasses [rice, wheat, barley and bamboo], vegetables from the mustard family [lettuce, broccoli, mustard and cauliflower] and cucurbits [melon, cucumber, watermelon and pumpkin], tomatoes and peppers)

Vote 1: look into trying to find a decent spot to start quarrying and mining for materials, I’m not sure if there was a designated quarry that was used when the city was built so look into that. + 2 manpower

Vote 2: help restore water infrastructure, to the best of my ability and draw up plans for a water cleaning/filtration plant so water can be recycled. + 1 manpower

This is a brief report for you, because describing technical details would be too much. You can look at the following reports for more information.

In any case - thanks to the resourcefulness of a team sent under your command to scout for additional sources of quarry - for concrete mainly - the old side of the basalt quarry was sent - and before a final review - it is still active and reusable and we changed a new point nearby which according to geologists - it is limestone! The base material for Roman cement, together with volcanic ash and sand found near the newly found city, if the quarrying begins, this could provide all the city’s needs in terms of cement and concrete!

People have already been sent to inspect the area before you send to establish a quarry, provided there is no further attack and it is defined by the military as safe for quarrying.

And another report from a team sent to deal with the water industry, who are known to have managed to restore the water industry and water circulation with great success and are working properly along with the amount of electricity that is currently being produced. Moreover, the team happened to come across another water source - a clean water aquifer that we could exploit to our advantage - but it was a bit dangerous to use because of its location, but with proper planning - we probably wouldn’t need to think about looking for other water sources.

A reconnaissance team from Oregon to try to intimidate the residents from the inside. According to their report, the team was successfully sent to the area, but they were soon asked for reinforcements for an attack on the cracked wall that is still in the restoration stages. But for now, when the event is over, they will return to their regular patrol.

But another team reported a discovery - in a search for resources from the ruins of the battle, they found an underground warehouse of resources hidden in an area relatively close to the old cansola building - probably by criminal elements - resources that are defined as critical - cement, iron and building materials. The amount there is defined as enough to build about a quarter of the ruins! Currently, in addition to scavenging for materials from the ruins, this team is also starting to clear the entrance and export the hidden materials for use in construction!

Vote 2: Researching weapons technology. (+1)

This is according to your knowledge - thanks to you we were able to prepare for the preliminaries.

According to a reconnaissance of the situation around the city, the scouts under your command managed to locate the organization of a swarm of unidentified flying snake-like creatures with wings moving in our direction. With the ability of early warning, the military managed to repel them in time, unsurprised, especially since they flew below our line of sight.

(More details in the general report)

And regarding weapons technologies - through the successful restoration of plasma technologies from the last battle - a team managed to create homemade plasma rifles that use materials that are relatively common in the city. They have already managed to convert them to mass production, but their distribution as an alternative weapon to firearms will take time. But in light of the future - this will be effective in the long term in the weapons industry. But only the future will tell.

History
The Event brought along with it many tragedies, and among them one of the saddest may have been the almost total annihilation of dogs; the very few that remained became a commodity that only the very richest in the city could afford. So when the son of an infamous buisnessman registered his dog, Buddy, for a ministerial election he quickly gained everyone favour, a beacon of hope in the post-apocaliptic Sublimpolis, he shattered every record becoming the most voted figure ever; now no one actually wanted to put a dog in charge of something important, but to not upset the population they just invented a new position for the dog, the minister of cuteness thinking no harm would came of it. One day, however, the dog suddenly gained the ability to talk! To most this was explained as a miracle caused by the power of love, but the actual truth, known to very few, is much more simple: the buisnessman, seeing an oppurtunity to expand his power on the city, installed a small loudspeaker in the dogs collar, to make him say whatever he wants.
Look

Electricity and water have returned to function and are even more efficient than before.

Almost all of the city’s ruins have been evacuated and a warehouse has been found containing enough building materials to rebuild a third of our city’s ruins!
