Thalassopocalypse

You can also boost the coevolution with nectar

Correct, or just smell a specific way which attract pollinators, nectar is just a benefit to get an untapped resource that you wouldn’t be competing over with other animals.

I assume you’d develop the smell first?

Most likely. As nectar is quite energy intensive to make, so some flowering species does either mimicry or just lure by smell.

Well there’s nothing to mimic here…

Well there is, with aggressive mimicry and that’s mimicking the looks or smell of a springtail, spider or the roaches, though that does take its time.

So would for instance it mimic the smell of mates for specimens to look out for?

So like Wasp Orchids?

Yea I think this does fit my description

Would an organism with a smart enough brain figure out that a mimic plant is not another potential mate?

Yeah but we are still ages from anything like that emerging

I wonder who is the β€œsmartest” organism right now in the FG?

Yes, I had a terrible week
I’ve only just been able to get out of it now and even then it wasn’t safe (literally).
I’m happy to come back here and continue the story if things continue to calm down.

In any case, I was summoned to give my speech:

  1. Thicken the fleshy tissue of the spore exoskeletons to be more focused and stimulating
  2. Reduce the salt concentration in the fleshy tissue to increase the variety of creatures that can touch them (and thus, increase the chances of spreading)
