The little world of Hycea (by me)

The average temp might be 27 Β°C and the atmospheric pressure, might be 20% smaller than Earth.

Do you plan to keep the biota LAWK?

Yes
(there will be another chapter, but in tomorrow)

I see. I suppose the speed will fall once the content already created has been used up…

It looks likes there are a lot of moons around Kepler 2006c. I want to know about all of them!

Will 2006-b be important later on?

I don’t know but here’s a chapter.
Chapter 3: The first organisms
In the freezing cold of the planet comes a slow flow of volcanic vents in the depths of the ocean. Here comes LUCA, the last universal common ancestor.
It will grow into a buch of forms throughout the Cryzoean eon, which the planet is cold, filled with an icy surface and down here is an ocean kept by the slow geologic activity happening inside of the core.
The first organisms that branched of off LUCA are the sulfuric eaters, the iron eaters and the predators, who evolve a spike to stab their prey.

Further to the Middle era of the Cryozoean eon, the sulfuric eaters evolve toxins that are released to prevent predation. The predators begin to split into 3 forms.

  • Toxic predators, (preventing the toxins from killing them)
  • Speedy predators,
  • And the bigger predators (also preventing the toxins from killing them)

Do these older forms persist into Hycaean?

Yes and they evolve into the current Archaea and Bacteria today.

You mean on that world?
Also I presume chapter 4 will be about Hycaean?

Yes. I will soon make the 4th chapter.

Do you plan on making 2 chapters a day?

Yes and this is the 2nd chapter.

Chapter 4: The Hycean Eon
In about 3 bya, Hycea was captured by Kepler 2006 c. This resulted tidal heating and slowly made the planet warm and it’s tectonic activity had risen due to streching.
This resulted in the explosion of life referred to as the Hycean explosion. It made much more forms such as plants and multicelluar eukaryotes. Then they branched off into cyanobacteria and unicelluar algae (or plants) and later on they megred with the eukaryotes by endosymbiosis.

This phenomenon will make multicelluar plants, an important step for life.

The planet in the Hycean eon, you can notice the Midkernian range.

Are these yellow-ish lines ridges?

These yellowish rigdes are tectonic lines with lots of activity and volcanism, it’s a choice of color to stand them out from the light blue water.

I suppose soon they will define continental boundaries?

They’ll define trench, island and continental boundaries

By the way, is Hycaea tidally locked now?

I want it to not be tidally locked.

What is it’s rotation period then?
