I think this isn’t as serious as writing phone numbers, addresses and credit cards publicly…
But I deleted this anyway

Believe me, this should be kept as low as possible. Smaller details might not be a big thing, but if you have a lot of them and put in enough time, you can easily track someone’s position. (E.G. if you know someone’s hometown, gender and age, you can then narrow it down to the people in that area with that specific age and gender, after which you can compare it with things you’ve heard them talk about it (E.G. if someone has complained about their bad grades it probably won’t be the best of the class)). On a place like this it shouldn’t be too much of an issue (mostly because of it’s size), but on larger sites you sometimes have people who dislike you that try to track you down. (Even on this site, if you use the same name everywhere one can find this site by googling your name and then finding the information here).
It of course doesn’t happen often, but one should still be cautious about it.
