On a related note now that I think about it hhyyrylainen will probably be the first to ascend and not blackjacksike because hhyyrylainen is already halfway there

Do any of you guys know where people got the idea of underwater civilizations from?
Itâs pretty much like any other âis this possible?â question, like organic wheels. What separates it from the rest is that people always have the same reason as to why it might be possible to advance past the stone age (hydrothermal vents to smelt metal) despite lots of back and forth stating itâs impossible.
I think itâs because people were disappointed in spore for not having underwater civs or something, many people wanted that to be a thing in the aquatic stage
