Jokes aside. My best advice would be to make your forum game easy to manage, or even better; Self sustaining.
I used to “DM” multiple forum games which I was incredibly enthusiastic about. But then after 10+ rounds I would put them into permanent hiatus because the workforce increased to a level I wasn’t comfortable with working with in the long term and the whole thing just wasn’t fun anymore. Don’t bite off more than you can chew.
