You could probably make a discourse plugin that does that, but I donโ€™t know enough about discourse plugins to say how easy it would be.

It think I recommended it elsewhere here. How about Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead? Version 0.F should be coming out soon.
Itโ€™s both a roguelike (according to wikipedia. doesnโ€™t involve dungeons nor levels, though, since itโ€™s openworld) and a sandbox!

The game also can be played with tiles, instead of ASCII.
Be warned, though, at the beginning youโ€™ll probably die a lot and have to get used to the many keys (tips: press ? in the game or in any menu to see all the keys you can press, and to see what they do, or to set new keys; donโ€™t drink โ€œwaterโ€, drink โ€œclean waterโ€; avoid guns in situations other than emergencies; press X (uppercase, not lowercase) to peek around a corner; stay away from the mushoom buddies)
