No, I was just trying to say that there is no absolute objective answer to the question and therefore it could be considered as a logical paradox if not taken subjectively. Itโs literally like asking who you would save between your mother and your wife. There is no right answer nor is there any wrong answer because it is subjective to take any decision. Ha ha! Actually, the only objective answer would have been not to come to the paradox in the first place.
That doesnโt make sense. The question โWho would you save, your mother or your wife?โ isnโt a paradox, itโs logically answerable:
If you value your mother more than your wife โ save your mother
If you value your wife more than your mother โ save your wife
If you value both equally โ arbitrarily pick one to save.
The subjective part is whether you value your mother or your wife more, which is what I was talking about with the orthogonality thesis.
I should also point out that by your logic almost any question at all is a paradox. Is 1 + 1 = 2? That depends on your axioms, and those are subjective, ITโs A PArADOx!
So using this logic we arrive at the conclusion that you should never ask questions.
