Yeah I had to refresh the page for the change to occur, but it does kind of look weird now that’s it normal lol
I just logged into the thrive forum on my tablet and learned: there is a thrive app
The symbol in the bottom kind of looks like Thrive’s logo
Not related to the discussion, but this is a thing I’ve been wondering about for a while. I’ve been seeing more and more instances of plural forms being formed with apostrophe+“s” instead of just “s”. Like screenshot’s/screenshots.
Which is new to me: I’m not a native English speaker, but I’m a translator, and I’ve never been taught of such cases. Is it correct to do so?
I’m 95% sure that that’s just a mistake. Similarly to how many native English speakers get “to” and “too” wrong where things that sound basically the same get written incorrectly accidentally.
I’m a native speaker and I still don’t fully know when to drop the apostrophe when it comes to words ending in s, but atleast you don’t do what I just did (and with ofcourse). Force of habit.
Yeah that was just a mistake
Haven’t been here in quite a while; what’s been popping, how is progress going?
Multicellular prototype is getting people exited, oliver made a YouTube video on thrive that brought in some new members, discussing underwater civs got banned again for reasons and the forum games are popping off rn.
from what i’ve seen, it seems to be ok to use it for single letter plurals like “A’s” and “B’s” but it still gets seen as unnecessary by some places. would acronyms use it or just letters?
I found this article. Apostrophe | The Punctuation Guide
Welcome to the forum btw!

So, US2 got a big change regarding the way that stars look, and I just hate it. I know that I’m going to get used to it and that it makes the stars look more realistic, but…
This looks like cancer to me rn.
Is that Beetlejuice?
Yea
Now say it thrice. . .
