No, Hhyyrylainen would still need 1k more posts to reach ascended. (Edit: Like Frale said, he only has 4k)
Maybe it was a side thing in one of the recent updates? Seems weird to change

Thanks, doomlightning! You have honored the thread! It ended the same way it has begun!

> This was a surprise to me as well, I didn’t know that system automatically created new threads when a thread hit the post limit. Also the auto generated title with just “Part 2” tacked on at the end is pretty funny considering all the talk about what to name the new thread.
Then why doesn’t it do the same on other threads? Did it do the same for the Shoutbox?
> [@hhyyrylainen](#):

> Also it seems that for some reason the post numbers got slightly relabeled when the thread hit the post limit and was closed.
You mean that the 10’000th post is now the 10’240th? It did the same on the shoutbox.

I flagged all the threads as spam, so once one of the mods gets online they should see ‘em.
But more people also flagging them couldn’t hurt

Wait no now they’ll spam here too, just ignore em. As soon as a mod gets on they’ll probably be sent a warning.
