And i dont think so, at least for now. We hadnt any problems with people claiming that its their original art, spam of ai art, or other things like that. Unless i missed something.

This came completely out of nowhere
that would mean my profile picture would be banned since itâs 100% made by craiyon, excluding the waffle host variant
Wait really? I genuinely thought it was some kind of ant that lives in Indonesia, Madagascar or something.
the legs look like bent gardening wire and it has 4 segments in its body instead of 3. also look at the front left leg.
I only voted yes, because people can spam a ton of big files with AI art, which will then take up forum space that could be used for a ton of higher quality posts about Thrive instead.
This make sense. I can already imagine an nine years old kid making an account on the forums, creating an topic called âthrve ai artâ and posting dozens of low quality ai images that dont even barely resemble thrive.
We already have rules against spam though.
Posting Thrive related images is not spam, technically. Only the use of AI aspect to pump out a ton of âlow-qualityâ images makes it spam.
For longevity other image hosts are really bad. So actually important images related to talking about Thrive would be lost if external service is used. Iâm not sure but if I remember right imgur deleted all anonymously uploaded images recently and/or all NSFW images. Also photobucket has deleted a bunch of images from anonymous people I think. Thatâs lead to huge amounts of old forum threads all over to be just a huge series of broken image links.
Another question regarding the future of thrive: How do you think the trailer for the âfull releaseâ version/6.0.0 would/will look like?
I like imagining it as some cinematic exploring wonders of life and technology whilst in-game things happen on screen
Itâs NSFW, not NSWF.
I just made a typo while typing my post, and I didnât think it was a critical message so I didnât proofread it (that well).
Probably showing a cell going through all stages of evolution, from the ocean to space.
Oh, and I have a âlightly developedâ concept for a overly cinematic trailer for a space stage update:
[A small critter is on a plant, walking carefully. On the background, is possible to see an night sky with an bright celestial body illumaning it. A melodic piano version of the Thrive theme song begins.]
[Suddenly a yellowish light get closer and the leaves move, sending the critter flying away.]
[The camera then switches to an alien wearing old-fashioned clothing (think about Victorian era clothing), riding what appears to be the equivalent of a bicycle. In front the handlebar there is a lantern that was the source of the yellowish light. The alien pedals through a field, heading towards what appears to be a small mount. ]
[The alien finally stops pedaling and gets off the bike. The alien looks around, In an very calm moment, and occasionally he makes some movement characteristic of the species (Ear twitching, tail wagging, some exotic part performing an exotic movement, anything to remind you that this is not a human) it is possible to see some lights very far away on the horizon.]
[The alien takes off a backpack and then begins a quick sequence in which they assembles an instrument, which at the end, the camera zooms out showing it to be an telescope.]
[The alien makes some final adjustments to the telescopes position as they looks up at the sky and then they finally crouches down and looks through the eyepiece]
[In the telescope view, a blurred brightness is adjusted until it is possible to see a celestial body, the same one we saw in the sky before, only with more details. The music starts to crescendo]
[The alien is fascinated, we can see it through his eyes, but then something interrupts him and we have a change of scene. Now, it was daytime and there is a film grain characteristic of the 60s and 70s. Another alien was using the telescope and was interrupted by a colleague next door. The colleague points forward and the camera changes angle, showing a huge rocket on a launchpad. There is a crowd around them, all keeping an eye on the rocket. A voice begins to count down in an alien language.]
[We have a brief view of the command center, where several aliens are sitting on computers. On a screen at the front it is possible to see 2 astronauts inside the rocket.]
[The count voice gets louder, and we have a closer view of the launchpad. Then, the engines start, causing immense smoke and lifting the rocket upwards. The crowd watches intently.]
[Cut to the astronauts, inside the capsule moving due to the power of the rocket. One of them activates a switch and the next stage turns on. All sounds stop. They are in space.]
[The astronauts report back to the command center and everyone begin to celebrate.]
[In several shots, the camera zooms out, showing the entire globe of the planet. The music becomes softer, and a small radio signal become audible. The drake equation, written in an alien language, appears and then the screen quickly cuts to black.]
its sounded better in my head.
Now I wonder what the thrivestream (or rather thrivecon[thricon?] at than point) for the final release would look likeâŚ
What about other hosts? Can we post an image to pastebin as a text, and can a discourse plugin turn it back to image?
What about animating the evolution of disturbance every time a new stage gets a final update?
Could be, but perhaps we could also use other concent art creatures, such as Romp or that creature from âBeen grinding for da viewâ.
Realistically, those trailers would also include organisms that were only created in them⌠not to be used ever again (most likely).
You are still relying on an external service. I would guess that is much less likely to work as pastebin has a ton of ads on their site these days. So to me it seems like they want to push people to view ads really hard. If significant bandwidth was abused this way Iâm sure they would react. Similarly to how Discord has reacted by making their image links temporary to ensure that sites cannot use them as basically a free CDN.
