You can see that they looks barely taller than the plants around it. The ground also looks like it being viewed from close up. But I guess the plants could some sort of macrofauna?

Probably the lack of eyes and framing of the scene that has the creature under a shaft of light as if from a narrow entrance.

Anyways the posture makes reminds me of an ape, so about that size looks right, though that would make the plants in the background chunky.
