I don’t see why you’d put mammoth fur on a rhino when you could just to the same thing with woolly rhino fur. breeding rhinos is slow enough it’d be more cost effective to get it perfect first try than to just mess around (same with elephants which is why they’re starting with mice).
Don’t worry, I don’t understand the national pride of the 4th of july or a baseball game or the flag. I grew up too close to the military to hold any idealized abstractions of it in a mixed race family of well educated people, plus I’m kinda belgium. If i understood nation pride something would probably be wrong with me. I enjoy 4th of july celebrations even if I don’t care about why we have it, I care about the USA’s womens soccer team because it seems right to root for them if only because they succeeded against the odds in a nation that doesn’t care about soccer or women, but not really because of their americanness, I have opinions on other parts of international footballness and they only prioritize my nation when it comes to the women’s world cup pretty much, it’s just coincidence. I can enjoy nationalism when it gives me something worth participating in like celebrations and fireworks and a team with an interesting story to tell, but not when it’s worthless… so uh. WHAT DOES ANYONE GET FROM HAVING A CROWN??? One could just lie and call the united republic of great britan and northern ireland the united kingdom even after it stops being a kingdom. No one cares. The castles will still be there and the royal family wouldn’t even suffer if cut out of governance and stripped of their titles and land. They could keep some money and become ordinary billionaires or that could be taken too and they could do tv show appearances and commemorative plaques or whatever for pro-royalty sympathizers until they were in the kind of wealth they like.
I mean the deadline basically does nothing it’s just ending it now with extra steps. The let them age option makes the most sense, no one actually looses anything. ending it now is way too brutal and no one has to vote for it.

I’m sorry if this is a little random if you don’t know who I am, but I just wanted to say hello again as I’ve not posted anything in the forums for quite some time. I used to be quite active through 2022/2023, but due to my mental health getting worse (and also the physical symptoms that come along with that) I’ve not been well enough to post here in quite some time 
Because of that, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to be as active here as I was before, but I still hope I can contribute to the community in some way. I’m currently planning to set up a YouTube channel dedictated to preserving/archiving lost Thrive content such as music, so hopefully I can get that set up soon.
I’m very happy to see this community and the game still growing! I’m sorry if this post was too random.

Have you participated in military training?
I think a lot of British people do care for national pride and making Britain a republic is not as easy as it sounds as the monarchy is anchored to the British constitution. The Royal family could (in theory) participate in politics, but they just decide not to.

Not sure if this is a positive to the whole situation, as it means the monarchy could attain more power even though no one voted for them to be in the said power.
