Yeah i wonder if maybe that’s a problem… some people can attain huge amounts of power solely by being born into it. What happens if a generation down the line someone finally decides to exercise the royal prerogative and just messes with the government for a while

We’re already impacted, but oil companies don’t care and they have funded climate skeptical groups.

Oil will only last so long… hopefully…

Oil exploitation will never entirely disappear. All we can do is try to minimize the damage done to the environment.

Oil will only last so long

Assuming we get the technology to drill the oil underneath the ice of Antarctica, Humanity might be dependent on oil for a very long time. Don’t forget a lot of plastics currently come from petroleum processing.

All we can do is try to minimize the damage done to the environment.

Which includes making sure people are informed of the environmental impact made by various industries.

I might be wrong about this, but close to 511 billion barrels worth of oil under the U.K. claimed territory of Antarctica. Who know how much more there could be found in other territories of Antarctica?

If the trends stay, Antarctic treaty won’t be getting renewed anytime soon…

I finally got to watch Thor: Love and Thunder, and, yeah…Unfortunately, the criticism people have for the film are valid. Almost everything in the film is made to be a joke, and to me, it ruins everything, including important moments. The one thing that I could not stop legitimately laughing at is the one kid using a bunny doll as a weapon. And so many breaks of previous Marvel lore that don’t make sense! The beginning of the film before the Marvel Logo was great, but quality then just dropped off a cliff. To be clear, I have nothing against people who like the film, but I just didn’t like it.
