No like a plastic spoon. I think they said it measured out to 7 grams of microplastics or something? Canโ€™t remember exactly

Now, I didnโ€™t really look into it, so I canโ€™t confirm it, but itโ€™s definitely believable in a terrible way

It was a study comparing 2024 human brains to brains from a couple years ago, like 2019 or 2014 or something, and found a 50% increase in microplastics

I assume they ground down the brains and then obtained the plastic from the leftover powder?

Iโ€™d much more likely assume taking several smaller representative samples and extrapolating
