They are progressing quite well! There is apparently a discovery that there is a connection between the hormone ABA (Abscisic acid) with IAA (auxin) and copper.
I stained the plants with Gus staining (turns the areas where the protein I am researching turns blue upon processing with toxic substances (Ferrocyanide and ferricyanide) and everything is ready and there were plants that were indeed very strongly stained (in the places they were expected) and I even photographed some of them binocularly.

But then the missiles started.
Iβm already in my second week of literally not being able to access my research and my thesis and exams are starting very soon.
And on top of that - I canβt continue to document my plants or even water them!
So thatβs the situation right now (and also the reason I canβt really do rounds in remmortal for those who donβt know, so now Iβm going to free up some time to continue and maybe do a side FG for fun (while Iβm still waiting for Genasis), but no promises)
Note - GUS dyeing kills the plants, by removing the chlorophyll in the process to see the power color that is not shown in the picture as expected. But these plants are preserved in a substance called a fixative - lactic acid, ethanol and glycerol and it should last a very long time.

Iβm fine, everyoneβs fine. I have a missile shelter at home that I went back to, for protection, but the missiles, each weighing over half a ton, arenβt exactly promising.
And it doesnβt exactly help that the preferred time for missiles to appear is around 3 a.m., like clockwork.

What would happen if the plants got destroyed?

It depends on 2 factors - only my plants are destroyed or my lab is destroyed.
Only my plants wouldnβt worry me because I have a supply of frozen seeds in the freezer just waiting to be replanted.
But if my lab is destroyed - I will lose everything that is not on the internet.

I donβt remember your nation, though I think I remembered it wasnβt anything like US or stuff like that if you know what I mean. I know itβs not particularly okay to ask people of their place but Iβm kinda worried and I hope youβre not within any targets.
I know this post feels weird but youβre a really neat guy and you donβt deserve the worst. Hope youβre safe.
Also why people gotta do all these wars, putting people who just want to live at riskβ¦

As u all see - I am never tell my location in this hyperveres becuse of personal reasons ( but some of u know alreay, i am to have anything to hide) and will never ask other duo of respect (i will discover that later tho)
But i just hope everything will pass as minimal hurt as possible. Even with that heavy rockets, there only very little death becuse we just use too unfortunately.
