Considering it’s Ediacaran where this fossil is from, it’s probably either softbody or coral-like. I would lean to the former in case of this specimen.

This makes me wonder if the franceville biota may also have fossils present worldwide but we’ve only discovered them in a single location so far…

The problem with Francevillian biota is that is we cannot determine if the formations are due to life, or other abiotic processes. Unlike the Chanulinggou Formation.

If it is life, that would mean had the snowball Earth event not taken place, “animals” would’ve developed hundreds of millions of years before they ended up evolving at.

that autistic brains should be able to hold onto long-term memories and skills without practice or active recollection for longer than allistic brains do, and thus autistic people should have a much easier time being able to withstand eternity

Would this mean if we were to somehow become an “eternal species”, should the autistic be selected as the blueprints for this new kind of people?
