I sure do hope I’ll become more active here now, but no promises. I can never be sure, whether, in the near future, my mental health won’t take a dip out of nowhere, or whether my interests won’t reshuffle randomly again. My absence this year was primarily caused by a mixture of school-related stress and fatigue, depressive episodes, and the problems described in the previous sentence.

Apparently, the Grandfather Mantagrell was based off of Anomalocaris. Although, the wings look more similar to another radiodont, Amplectobelua.
Reconstruction of Amplectobelua symbrachiata / Amplectobelua trispinata , a cambrian amplectobeluid radiodont (stem-Arthropoda: Dinocaridida: Radiodonta: Amplectobeluidae). Tail fan are conjectural.
Or even Lyrarapax.
