Does anyone hope that we will discover alien life in our lifetime, other then basic microbes, like it’s unlikely, but we can hope.

I think it’s too unlikely, but I hope at least microbes or their remnants are found.

Discovering remnants of life would be amazing and microbes even better, like I think microbes are underrated.

Very unlikely for us to find other lifeforms outside the solar system within our lifetime though

I mean there are many bodies beyond europa which could have underice oceans pretty sure within the system, if europa has none we still have many shots

I feel like most of us like spec-evo then not, like imagining alien like in the oceans of icy moons, or around alien suns, would be a common trait in people who play Thrive, but why would I know.

Since this is a game about creating an alien species and partially a biosphere it’s pretty clear why most here are specevo-ists.
