I found on Speculation Evolution Reddit on theoretically what could happen if a world only had Tullimonstrum.

I wonder the interpretation of such a seedworld greatly depends on what sort of animal you see tullimonstrum as being

Eating fish for Christmas is certainly a tradition in Poland. It used to encompass a wide variety of fish, but due to post-WW2 impoverishment and scarcity (and popularisation efforts by the communist government) it became dominated by carp. The poverty of the PRL also gave birth to some unusual carp-related practicesโ€ฆ

โ€ฆlike the bathtub carp killing ritual, which, for many Poles, is either a core element of Christmas nostalgia, or one of their first childhood traumas. Thankfully, this practice is steadily being phased out due to socio-economic changes, cultural shifts, efforts of animal rights activists and legal restrictions on trading living fish.

Pretty sure carp isnโ€™t very native to that region

Am I the only one who canโ€™t stop thinking of Magikarp saying Magikarp while looking at these pictures?

Very true

I want to plan a little more about two very important data:
Information about the planet itself [(a little smaller than Earth with a larger moon than the moon), star (K type close to G), rotation on axes (not sure yet). Atmosphere is pretty ready - much lower oxygen concentration but not too low (10%, close to what the ancients had and still tolerant enough for marine creatures, which are known to be really strong in terms of oxygen absorption and also to limit the depths, although there is no creature on the list that is able to do this except for the starfish] and to definitely check for the ancients the creatures among the list [the question of the substrate/microbial mats - in principle, Benthos would be a problem because of how oxygen passes through the bottom, which caused the extinction of grazer bacteria. The only creature from the list is the belgium*kinsonia found in this question. In principle, because of the moon, there would be higher tides than usual (probably almost 2 times), but with will be much more common Weak tidal areas protected from strong waves, they can survive [Stromatolites are a prime example]].

Will the moon slowly tidally lock the planet?

It seems like we could be on the path to complete this misc thread right around when 1.0.0 rolls around

I heard that back in the old days, youโ€™d buy a live chicken, kill it yourself and then cook it.

Yup. My dad tells me stories about that, since he used to have chickens.

Oh dear god. Rigid Terrestrial Macroalgae is an actual thing? The Vegetation classification system I have been working on canโ€™t handle that. :disturbing:

You can adapt/evolve it to allow that to exist though right?

Edit: @Nie your latest image seems to have expired

I think so, because I relatively want the moon to be a little closer than our moon is relatively, meaning itโ€™s inevitable that itโ€™s tidelocked.

How long will this take though?

I was really confused as no one else seemed to react to the weird โ€œimage blockedโ€ image in any wayโ€ฆ
