It might not happen as the thread has slowed down quite a bit in the past few days, which might indicate that the end of the year is going to be relatively quiet on the forums.

Which is strange since now after 1.0.0 I would have expected the forum to be more active than most of the time

We had the usual 1-2 days of extra activity in the community that all releases brings in but not much more than that.

It could be rather grave for us if this release is received no better than any other before. Well not immediately at least…

Did the number of sales increase compared to previous releases? Or it too early to tell at this point?

Yeah, it literally doesn’t make a difference even if this release’s sales spike was higher than before as the sales spikes are always gone quickly. So it is too early to tell what the effect is. And as we are now in a Steam Sale period, that will also skew the numbers so it isn’t like until end of January before the real effect becomes visible.

Of course the sales spike could be extreme but even without checking the numbers I doubt it can be orders of magnitude more and thus in the long term a single slightly bigger sales spike is meaningless.
