Sometimes, I update my Fedora system and then have to reboot. Itโs rare, but my system sometimes doesnโt shutdown before rebooting. I know that because my LCD monitorโs backlight is still on and my CPU fan doesnโt even stop for a split second (and its RGB lights remain blue; they would become multicolor if the PC rebooted). In this case, I have to force the PC to shutdown. Is that dangerous for my system @hhyyrylainen?

It depends. If youโve selected to install updates the system might be hanging around on the boot screen to install updates, in which case, yes, it is very dangerous to shut down.
If the system is not really doing anything but actually stuck then it is very unlikely that forcing a shutdown would cause issues. So it really depends on what is going on.

I think if life itself canโt be a great filter, nucleous acquiration could be the last one left behind us

Because IQ tests donโt score education. They score a personโs ability to recognize patterns, an appropiate IQ test wouldnโt ask for any knowledge on a topic.

Drake Equation Calculator
What do you guys think of the drake equation? I think itโs a pretty good tool to estimate the amount of civilizations in our galaxy.

I was wondering if any lifeform on a planet like this would utilize this constant influx of kinetic energy to power themselvesโฆ Earth plants are, bluntly put, biological solar panels, so what if planets like theses had biological wind turbines?
It is funny to call it a โequationโ when it is more akin to theses Algodoo elimination races videos in a basic math format than an actual scientific equation, thatโs because it was made in one week by drake so we would had anything to showcase on a conference he was going to participateโฆ it is a fun little thing, at best, my result here was 24480 civilizations.
Unfortunely people use it to talk about the fermi paradox that is sooooo annoyingโฆ

Only if they can edit the CSS themselves, the wrap function allows them to create divs with tags that can be modified by CSS defined by the administrators.
