Mint tea with almond nuts

Yes the power of TEA grants me the ability to see that which is gone

@TeaKing Would you add milk to such tea? Or perhaps evenโ€ฆ almond milk?

I wish we could set properties like the stars luminosity and planet radius/solar constant/temperature/atmosphere and all that stuff so I could do runs on completely custom planets that donโ€™t just feel like earth variants honestly but I donโ€™t think that will ever become a feature

hopefully some day someone makes a mod that changes the planet customizer to something like that

The planet customizer might be updated in the future, since plate tectonics has not been added yet. Hopefully, additional planet customization options will be come in the future.

I suppose it would be available both in the very beginning and at the very end of a run?

There are definitely plans for more elaborate planet customisation than what we have now, considering the 3D world will have more potential differences to it. For example, there would be not so much effect from a gravity setting in the two Stages we have so far. On the other hand, we do have a setting for planet size (which is the same as the โ€œplanet radiusโ€ you mention otherwise.

You can probably find the prototype work somewhere on the dev forums, but I canโ€™t go dig for it right now.

Would things like planet sive vs gravity be 100% tied together or would there be some leeway perhaps with the density of the planet for instance?

I wonder if we will be able to have fast rotating planets like Mesklin?

Probably nonlawk only

I would expect there to indeed also be a density factor. But there might equally be an unrealistic complete decoupling between gravity and size if we decide itโ€™s necessary.

In particular, some players might need smaller worlds for performance reasons, but we wouldnโ€™t want that to mean theyโ€™re forced to play with low gravity.

Sounds like quite a strongly different mechanic, so itโ€™s probably not something easily done, and not of high priority. This fits in my opinion with the type of things that only become a real priority if weโ€™ve made good progress on the Space Stage. (As always: If a volunteer wants to do it, etc.)

If itโ€™s possible in theory but we havenโ€™t seen it: non-LAWK. If there are actual known examples: LAWK.

Iโ€™m pretty sure a planet with a spin this rapid would be nearly at the point of ripping itself apart

Also wasnโ€™t there a new spino species discovered recently?

mirabilis is an inland species compared to the coastal aegyptiacus.

Also, new Ediacaran White Sea Assembleage fossils were found in Northwest Canada.

I think itโ€™s usually either canada, russia or australia that have ediacaran fossils?

The UK, Namibia, parts of China, and parts of Brazil also do have Ediacaran fossils.

I can see why for south africa since they have one of the older cratons in there

I thought it was South Africa, but it is actually Namibia. Also, Norway has some Ediacarans fossils, too.
