This is exactly what I thought, one of the world’s powers getting small nations in an alliance, telling them what to do, that sounds a lot like a vassal
They do protect you militarily, but the golden league doesn’t do much with other things, like technological help, or humanitarian help. Maybe they offer you help, but because they’re almost always at war, you don’t receive any. My nation has problems with a disease, and an earthquake also happened, almost no one in the golden league helped me. And also that a member of the golden league tried to scam me but that’s unimportant.
